The Hotspring Cave is an optional mini-dungeon beneath the hot springs in the northwest of Lyhamn. It is a large cavern opened up by Nyx under the village, and it becomes accessible during the Spring's Return side quest in Chapter 2, which begins with a villager west of town pointing Juno to the entrance. The cave is entered by boat from the wooden pier below.

Layout

The cave is short and linear, made of three connected rooms. Community mapping of the current build names them Reef Cave, an opening stretch with introductory puzzles; Foggy Lair, which mixes tougher puzzles with combat; and Cradle of Steam, where one large puzzle leads into a boss arena. Scalding steam vents are the recurring hazard throughout.

Encounters here are scripted to the Spring's Return quest rather than respawning. Documented foes include the Pendicis and the bomb-throwing Rana Turri Fictus. Community documentation also lists two creatures not seen elsewhere, the Tenta Enigmus and the Muruckus.
