Created Divine Arts overview covering DC economy, slot types, and the three Arts seen in the build
Divine Arts are special moves that Juno can use during combat. They take the form of items that must be equipped to a slot before they can be triggered, and they consume Divine Charges (DC) when used.
Divine Arts come in three types: Melee, Ranged, and Guard. Each aspect has one slot of each type, so once every aspect is unlocked there will be twelve total slots. Bloom Arts (only seen in the prologue so far) hint at a second tier of twelve slots above the standard Burst Arts.
To execute an Art, Juno must have enough DC and be attuned to the Art's aspect. Melee Arts trigger from the Divine Art key, Ranged Arts trigger while aiming, and Guard Arts have no documented trigger yet because none have shipped. Burst Arts are activated by a quick press; Bloom Arts (prologue only) are activated by holding the key.
Divine Charges build up gradually as Juno attacks enemies. One charge regenerates automatically while she is out of combat. Her cap is 3 DC. In the prologue, Dahmon was seen with a cap of 10 DC, suggesting later progression unlocks more charge slots.
Two Burst Arts are obtainable in the current build, both Physis. A third, Revenant Specter, is used by Dahmon during the prologue.
Art | Slot | Aspect | Hit Type | Cost | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Bramble Quake | Burst (Melee) | Physis | Pierce | 1 DC | Jump and slam the ground to send a wide fan of spikes forward. Holding a direction extends the jump. |
Leaf Blades | Burst (Ranged) | Physis | Slash | 1 DC | Fires a single projectile that inflicts Brittle on hit and spawns rotating leaves around the target. |
Revenant Specter | Bloom (Melee) | Aether | Blunt | 2 DC | Prologue only. Dahmon teleports through a target several times before finishing with a knockback punch. |
Both shipped Arts are equipped automatically in the second room of the Trial of Aether. This forms the player's introduction to the Divine Art system. New Arts are expected to appear as more aspects unlock in later updates.
Divine Arts inherit Juno's Strength stat for damage and gain a 20% boost from the Providence node on the Growth Chart. The Grit node also lets DC regenerate when Juno takes damage or blocks, scaled by the attack's force.
