Added New Game Plus guide for the October 2026 release
New Game+ is the campaign replay mode added to 007 First Light with the free Extended Operations update on October 1, 2026. It unlocks after the campaign is completed on any difficulty. A replay can begin at the start of the story or at any completed checkpoint.
Choice | Rule |
|---|---|
Unlock | Finish the campaign on any difficulty. |
Starting point | Beginning of the campaign or a completed checkpoint. |
Difficulty | Easy, Normal, Hard or the unlocked 00 setting. |
Outfits | Choose unlocked outfits through the Journal; restart the chosen checkpoint to apply one. |
Gadgets | Swap during a mission, subject to story-point availability. |
A completed campaign is the gate, rather than a particular higher-difficulty clear. 00 Difficulty offers the new hardest setting once unlocked, but replaying with custom outfits and gadgets is also supported on Easy, Normal and Hard. The Missions and Chapters pages retain the existing campaign sequence.
Open the Journal to choose an unlocked outfit, then restart the selected checkpoint so the change takes effect. This allows campaign scenes to be replayed in the attire the player has unlocked. The outfit selection and the checkpoint restart are separate steps; selecting an outfit alone is not the published application procedure.
New Game+ lets players change gadgets during a mission without waiting for the next chapter. Each gadget must nevertheless have been unlocked at that point in the story. The replay does not place later Q Branch inventions into the opening missions. Q Branch Gadgets retains the individual device guides and launch rules.
Update 1.3.1 repaired Observant Spy outfit clipping in gameplay stances, actions and Photo Mode poses during New Game+. It also repaired the coat turning inside out during the confrontation with Monroe, jointly listed under The Needle's Eye / A Night Out. These visual fixes do not change the campaign completion gate or the story-based gadget availability.
