Zeverland is listed for Windows only. The Steam entry carries no macOS or Linux build, and none has been announced. Two sets of specifications exist in public, and they are not interchangeable: the current store listing, and a separate list published for the first tech test in November 2025. This page keeps them apart.
Current Store Listing
These are the figures on the Steam store page as of September 2026, for a game that has no release date.

Three details stand out. Storage is 64 GB at both tiers rather than scaling with quality settings. The game targets DirectX 11 rather than 12, which keeps the floor low on older machines. A broadband connection is required at both tiers, which follows from every server being run by the studio: there is no local-only mode that skips the connection, even for single-player. That arrangement is explained on Servers and Multiplayer.
Because the game is unreleased and the studio changed direction in July 2026, treat these as provisional. A build that has not yet solved its performance problems is not in a position to finalise a specification.
Alpha-Only Specs From November 2025
A different list was published on 2025-11-01 for the First Pre-Alpha Tech Test, described explicitly by the studio as being just for the alpha. It is not a minimum, it is not the current recommendation, and it should not be merged with the table above.

The two lists differ in ways that matter. The alpha list named AMD alternatives for both the processor and the graphics card, while the current store listing names Intel and NVIDIA parts only. The alpha asked for 40 GB of storage against the current 64 GB. And the alpha's recommended graphics card, a GeForce RTX 3060, is now the current recommended card rather than an alpha-only target, while the current minimum drops to a GeForce GTX 1650.
Driver Advisory
Before the Second Pre-Alpha Tech Test opened on 2026-06-25, the studio warned that NVIDIA drivers numbered 32.0.15 and older could cause crashes or freezes in the build, and recommended updating to 32.0.16.1047 or newer. That notice was specific to the test, but it is the only driver guidance the studio has published.
Languages
The store currently lists thirteen interface languages: English, Simplified Chinese, French, Italian, German, Spanish for Spain, Russian, Turkish, Japanese, Polish, Traditional Chinese, Portuguese for Portugal and Korean. Full audio is listed for English and Simplified Chinese only. This is a change from 2025-11-01, when the studio said the game supported Simplified Chinese and English alone with more to come later.
Platforms Not Supported
No console version is confirmed. Asked about it, the studio said console support is challenging and that controller compatibility is not ready. Controller support and Steam Deck support both sit on the studio's wish list rather than among its commitments, which is worth noting because controller support was one of the items on the November 2025 roadmap covered on the Roadmap page: it has been discussed as a plan for longer than it has existed as a feature.
Performance is the other open question. During the second tech test, framerates in the game's largest city fell into single digits on machines that met the bar, and performance is one of the three things the studio committed to fixing afterwards. Until a later build is shown, the published specifications describe a target rather than a measured result.
