Removed repeated body wikilinks, keeping the first occurrence of each target
11The Tow Bot is the only support unit The Valkaru field and the only unit on either mercenary roster in this pair with no weapon at all. It is a Tier 3 walker bought one at a time from the War Vault and hired into a main faction army partway through a match, since mercenary groups are contracted into a faction rather than played on their own.2233It does two things. Utility Laser repairs a nearby friendly unit for 12 health a second at 8 range, targeting ground and air alike, and Pull drags every unit in a target area toward the Tow Bot on a 30 second cooldown. The second of those is what makes the rest of the Valkaru roster work, because almost everything else the group fields has to be in contact to deal damage.4455Figures below describe the September 2026 Early Access build carrying the identifier ZS.c36778, and they move with a patch cadence that has been close to weekly since launch. Roughly half the versus roster had a stat touched in the fortnight before that build was captured, so read every number here as dated rather than permanent.6677Stat Block8899StatValueCost100 hexite and 150 fluxHealth425Shields0Armor0Armor typeHeavyStatus resistNot published in the entity data for this unitMove speed600Vision16Supply6Build timeNone. The entity data publishes no attack entry for it of any kind, which makes it the only unit across the Marran and Valkaru rosters that cannot damage an enemy directly. Its 6 supply buys utility rather than output.13131414Abilities15151616AbilityTypeEffectRangeCooldownUtility LaserHealRepairs a nearby friendly unit for 12 health a second. The entity data publishes no radius or cast range for the ability.18181919Upgrades20202121Nothing upgrades the Tow Bot directly. The Valkaru talent line, taken at faction levels 2, 4 and 6, is what changes it.22222323LevelTalentEffect2Hounds of WarAn extra Valkaru Hound spawns every time a mercenary squad is purchased.4Relic PlatingAll Valkaru units gain 1 flat armour and 25 percent health.6Fallen GloryValkaru units temporarily gain 15 percent attack speed when friendly units die nearby, and the Beast gains its Taunt and Pulverize abilities.2424Relic Plating matters more here than anywhere else on the roster, because the Tow Bot is the only Valkaru unit with a flat armour value of zero. Taking it to 1 armour and roughly 531 health turns the group's single point of failure into something that survives being focused.25252626Conversion Costs27272828Three factions can act on a unit that already exists instead of building a new one, and each pays out of the same top bar power pool. Infuse is the Grell mechanic, permanently raising a friendly unit's health, damage and regeneration for the rest of its life at a bonus of 45 percent since the balance pass of August 11, 2026. Reanimate is the Legion of Truth version, which speeds the unit up by 30 percent while it lives and stands it back up when it dies. Replicate is the Xol version, which copies an eligible allied unit outright.29293030The Tow Bot is eligible for all three, and in this build the three prices are identical at 14.375 power each. See Resources and Economy for how the top bar pool fills.31313232Role33333434Pull is the ability the whole Valkaru roster is designed around. A 30 second cooldown that drags an area of enemies toward the Tow Bot places them inside the Valkaru Hound squad and inside the Valkaru Flame Walker stream, and it is the only tool in the game either mercenary group has for moving an enemy army rather than moving toward it. Status resist reduces the distance pulled, so it works best on the cheap units that publish no resist value at all.35353636The healing is the quieter half. Twelve a second on a 0.5 second cycle, applied to ground and air, keeps a Valkaru Shock Trooper pair standing through a fight they would otherwise lose slowly, and it works on the main faction units hired alongside the Valkaru just as well as on Valkaru ones.37373838The cost is that 6 supply contributes zero damage. A Tow Bot bought into an army that cannot capitalise on a Pull is 6 supply of healing at a Tier 3 price, and with 425 health, zero flat armour and no published status resist, it is also the easiest Valkaru unit to kill first.39394040Faction Context41414242The Valkaru fight in contact, and the Tow Bot is the piece that creates it. Two of the group's five units are melee, a third has a 9.5 range flamethrower, and the Tow Bot is what brings targets into all three. Move speed 600 is the fastest figure in the roster, so it can keep up with the army it supports. See Heroes and Commanders for the two Valkaru commanders who fight alongside it.43434444Tier and Armour Interactions45454646Heavy armour type with a flat armour value of zero is a strange pairing. The type invites every Heavy bonus in the game while the zero armour value blunts nothing at all, so the Tow Bot takes both heavy weapons and massed light ones at full price. Flat armour subtracts damage per hit with a floor of one damage, and having none of it is the difference between the Tow Bot and every other Valkaru unit.47474848Pull interacts with status resist rather than with armour. The distance a unit is dragged is reduced by its resist value, which means the ability is strongest against exactly the cheap swarms the rest of the roster wants to fight and weakest against the heavy units that publish a resist figure. Units covers the six armour types and the status resist field.49495050Counters51515252Strong Against53535454TargetWhyLow resist swarmsPull drags them the full distance into the Valkaru line, where the melee half of the roster is waiting.Sustained attrition fightsTwelve health a second, applied to ground and air, on a 0.5 second cycle.Ranged armies that rely on spacingA 30 second cooldown that removes the spacing entirely.5555Weak To56565757ThreatWhyBeing focused first425 health, zero flat armour and no published status resist on a unit that cannot shoot back.High status resist armiesPull distance is reduced by resist, so the ability does progressively less against heavier rosters.Heavy armour bonusesThe Tow Bot carries Heavy armour with no flat value to soften anything.5858Balance History59596060July 30, 2026: Pull radius reduced from 2.75 to 2.25 and healing range reduced from 12 to 8.August 11, 2026: healing reduced from 16 health a second to 12, and health reduced from 500 to 425.August 28, 2026: cost increased from 75 hexite and 150 flux to 100 hexite and 150 flux, with the three conversion prices moving from 13.13 to 14.375 to match.61616262Notes63636464The roster record for this unit is COMPLETE on every field the source publishes. Two values are absent from the entity data and are left blank rather than guessed: the status resist value and any range or radius on Pull. The radius given above is from the dated studio note, not from the stat block.Mercenary units carry no build time, and that is a property of the game rather than a gap in the record: they are hired rather than constructed, so the entity data publishes a price and a squad size but no production timer. The The Valkaru page still lists the pre August 28 price of 75 hexite and 150 flux. The 100 and 150 on this page are the current build values. The Tow Bot has been tuned in three consecutive balance passes, more than any other unit on either roster in this pair, and every one of those changes was a reduction. Treat its figures as the most volatile on the page.Per unit numbers are drawn from a community maintained entity catalogue that the studio links from each of its own faction pages. It is the only place a full stat block is published, so read the figures as careful community documentation of one build rather than as an official specification. Dated balance notes come straight from the studio patch posts and are stated as such.
