Removed repeated body wikilinks, keeping the first occurrence of each target
11The Thrall is the cheap body at the bottom of the Legion of Truth army, a Tier 1 light ranged infantry unit that comes out of the Legion Barracks three at a time. Fifty hexite buys the whole batch, which works out at 16.67 hexite a body, and each body costs one supply and carries 70 health behind Light armour. Seven damage on a 1.5 second cycle at range 7 is unremarkable on its own. What makes the unit matter is that it shoots both ground and air, that it arrives in threes, and that the faction has two separate mechanics that consume Thralls on purpose.2233Figures below describe the September 2026 Early Access build, the one carrying the identifier ZS.c36778, and they move with the weekly patch cadence. Roughly half the versus roster had a stat touched in the fortnight before that build was captured, so treat every number here as dated rather than permanent.4455Stat Block6677StatValueCost50 hexite for a batch of three, which is 16.67 hexite each. A Thrall deals its flat 7 against Light, Medium, Heavy, Building, Hero and None alike, so the unit never spikes and never falls off.12121313Abilities14141515None. Read alongside the Steelsworn upgrade Alloy Armor, which grants an attack speed ramp in the same shape, attack speed is the likely reading, but the catalogue does not state it and this page will not assert it.21212222Conversion Costs23232424Reanimate is the Legion conversion mechanic, paid out of the same top bar power pool as the Grell Infuse and the Xol Replicate. While the unit lives it attacks and moves 30% faster. When it dies it gets back up, 30% slower than the original, and keeps fighting.25252626The Thrall is eligible for all three conversions at an identical 0.8335 power each, the cheapest price anywhere in the Legion roster. A single Reanimate on a Thrall is close to free, which is the point: it is the one unit where the second life costs less than the first body did.27272828Role29293030Thralls are a tempo unit rather than a fight winning one. Three arrive per order for one build time, they cover both domains, and at 525 move speed they keep up with a Legion push. With a supply cost of one each they also convert cleanly into army count, which matters for a faction whose expensive units sit at 15 supply apiece.31313232The second half of the unit's job is to die usefully. Every supply of Thralls sacrificed inside a Ritual Site, up to a ceiling of 30 supply, adds +50 health and +5 attack damage to the Emperor Projection it summons, so one Thrall is worth exactly +50 health and +5 damage to the Emperor. Sacrificing a Thrall on the Citadel also cuts that structure's research time, and Galavax can spend one with Sacrificial Spear to leave a Sacrificial Site healing nearby biological units.33333434Riding is the third use. A Thrall mounted on a Mammoth grants it +125 movement speed, which is the fastest the beast gets.35353636Faction Context37373838The Thrall is one of three units carrying the data tag that marks Legion thrall bodies, the other two being the Steelsworn at 2 supply and the Dark Disciple at 4. The Storm Bringer does not carry it. That tag is what separates a body that can be fed to the Emperor from one that cannot, and it is the mechanical spine of the faction identity described on the faction page: powerful customizable tanks paired with swarms of cheap troops.39394040Tier and Armour Interactions41414242Light armour with an armour value of 0 is the most exposed combination in the game. Armor is also a number held separately from the type. It subtracts flat damage from every hit with a floor of 1 damage, so it blunts fast weak attacks far more than single heavy ones. A Thrall has none of that protection, so every point of incoming damage lands. It is also the armour type most bonuses key off: anything carrying a bonus against Light doubles or better into a Thrall ball.43434444Counters45454646Strong Against47474848TargetWhyAir unitsThe Galynx Assault Cannon hits both domains at range 7, which is rare on a unit this cheap.Anything the batch can surroundThree bodies per order at 525 move speed means damage arrives in volume rather than in quality.4949Weak To50505151ThreatWhyBonuses against Light armourThe Steelsworn deals +100% against Light before its Saw upgrade is even counted.Splash and area damage70 health with no armour value means a packed batch dies to a single well placed area effect.Heavy armoured unitsSeven flat damage against a target with an armour value chews most of the attack away.5252Balance History53535454DateChangeAugust 14, 2026Fixed a bug where Thralls granted health and energy to nearby heroes when they died.5555Notes56565757The roster record for this unit is COMPLETE: cost, health, armour, speed, vision, supply, build time, tier, domain, weapon and all three conversion costs are published.58585959The Battle Frenzy upgrade text does not name the stat it modifies. That gap is in the source, not in this page.60606161Per unit numbers are drawn from a community maintained entity catalogue that the studio links from each of its own faction pages. It is the only place the full stat block is published, and it is not a studio document, so the figures are best read as careful community documentation of a build rather than as an official specification. Dated balance notes, by contrast, come straight from the studio patch posts.
