Removed repeated body wikilinks, keeping the first occurrence of each target
11The Synapse is the Xol flying support unit, a Tier 2 body assembled by merging two Spectrons with a further 50 hexite and 150 flux on top. It heals nearby allies it touches for 8 health a second, carries the Overclock buff that the faction uses to accelerate a push, and unusually for a healer it also fights: Stellaris Lash hits ground and air at range 5.5 for 30 damage, which is 17 damage a second.2233Figures below describe the September 2026 Early Access build, the one carrying the identifier ZS.c36778, and they move with the weekly patch cadence. Roughly half the versus roster had a stat touched in the fortnight before that build was captured, so treat every number here as dated rather than permanent.4455Stat Block6677StatValueCost50 hexite and 150 flux, on top of the two Spectrons consumed by the mergeHealth250Shields0Armor0Armor typeLightStatus resistNone listed in the entity recordMove speed675Vision18Supply4Build time16 secondsTier2DomainFlyerInfuse cost11.875Reanimate cost11.875Replicate cost11.875Merged from2 SpectronsUnlocked byMolten Core88Weapons991010WeaponDamageDPSRangeCooldownTargetsBonusesStellaris Lash30175.51.8sGround and airNone1111Abilities12121313AbilityTypeCooldownDurationEffectOverclockActivated, around self30s5sGives nearby friendly ground and air units the Overclock buff. The World Forge upgrades reach it as a Xol army unit, and Casting Range is the one that matters most here because both of its support effects are range limited.17171818SourceCostEffectWorld Forge Casting Range400 flux, 60 seconds+20% casting range per rank, doubled near the ForgeWorld Forge, five others200 flux each, 60 secondsArmor, Damage, Vitals, Weapon Range and Cooldown Reduction, each to 2 ranks. Rather than buffing a unit it copies one, producing a second body from an eligible ally. Since the balance pass of August 11, 2026 it also works on molten units, at twice the usual power cost. Eligibility is not universal, and the tags on a unit record are what say which of the three conversions apply. The Synapse is eligible for all three at an identical 11.875 power each, the second most expensive conversion in the faction behind the Eradicator.22222323Role24242525Eight health a second is a modest heal, and the qualifier matters more than the number: Touch Heal applies to units the Synapse touches, not to units within an aura at range, so keeping it useful means physically threading a flier through a moving army. The reward for doing that is continuous, free and applies to ground and air alike, which over a long fight is worth considerably more than the per second figure suggests.26262727Overclock is the burst half. Thirty seconds of cooldown for five seconds of a damage and movement buff on everything nearby is a push button, and the faction hands the same ability to the Xol Harvester on a 60 second cooldown and applies it automatically to Rollers thrown by an Eradicator. A Synapse behind an attack is what makes the Xol timing pushes land.28282929The 17 damage a second on a support unit is not incidental. It hits air, which most of the faction cannot, and it means a Synapse contributes even while its heal is doing nothing. Armour is a number as well as a type. It subtracts a flat amount from every incoming hit with a floor of 1 damage, so it blunts many small hits far more than one large one. The Synapse itself carries 250 health with Light armour and no armour value, so it dies to any dedicated anti air that reaches it and has to be flown behind the line rather than with it.30303131Faction Context32323333The Synapse unlocks at the Molten Core alongside the Echo and the Defiant. Because it consumes two Spectrons, a Synapse competes directly with the Eradicator for the same banked bodies, and the free 20 second Unmerge added on August 11, 2026 is what makes that a reversible choice rather than a locked one. See Units for the shared stat block and Heroes and Commanders for commanders.34343535Counters36363737Strong againstWhyAttrition fightsA continuous free heal compounds over a long engagement in a way that burst healing does not.FliersStellaris Lash hits air at range 5.5, which most of the Xol roster cannot do at all.Timed pushesOverclock on a 30 second cooldown accelerates an entire nearby army for 5 seconds.3838Weak toWhyDedicated anti air250 health with Light armour and no armour value does not survive focused fire.Burst damage on the units it is healingEight health a second cannot outpace anything that kills a target in one volley.Being forced out of contactTouch Heal requires the Synapse to touch its targets, so a fight it cannot fly into is one it cannot heal.3939Balance History40404141DateChangeAugust 11, 2026Healing buff reduced from 10 health a second to 8.August 11, 2026The studio note records the Overclock move speed bonus being increased from +35%, which is also the day Replicate gained the ability to target molten units.4242Notes43434444The roster record for this unit is COMPLETE. Every core field is published.45454646There is an unresolved conflict on Overclock. The entity record describes the buff as +35% damage and movement speed for 5 seconds, and the same wording appears on the Xol Harvester and on the Eradicator ability that Overclocks thrown Rollers. The studio patch note of August 11, 2026 instead records the Overclock move speed bonus being increased from +35% to a much larger figure, written without a percent sign in the original post. The studio note is the authoritative record and it is dated a month before this build, so the movement half of the buff is very likely larger than the +35% the entity text still prints. The damage half is not in dispute. Because the studio figure is ambiguous as written, this page reports the entity wording and flags the conflict rather than publishing a number it cannot verify.47474848Per unit numbers are drawn from a community maintained entity catalogue that the studio links from each of its own faction pages. It is the only place the full stat block is published, and it is not a studio document, so the figures are best read as careful community documentation of a build rather than as an official specification. Dated balance notes, by contrast, come straight from the studio patch posts.
