Removed repeated body wikilinks, keeping the first occurrence of each target
11The Gatherer is the Grell flux harvester, the Tier 0 unit that walks out to a flux deposit and carries the crystal home. It does two jobs the other factions' harvesters do not: it spawns Cultivators for free on a timer, and it spreads biomass under itself whenever it stops moving. It has no weapon at all.2233Figures below describe the September 2026 Early Access build, the one carrying the identifier ZS.c36778, and they move with the weekly patch cadence. Roughly half the versus roster had a stat touched in the fortnight before that build was captured, so treat every number here as dated rather than permanent.4455Stat Block6677StatValueCost100 hexiteHealth275Shields0Armor0Armor typeMediumStatus resistNone listedMove speed500Vision16Supply0Build time18 secondsTier0DomainGround unitInfuse costNot eligibleReanimate costNot eligibleReplicate costNot eligibleBuilt byBloomwellMaximum owned10Flux gathered1 from a standard deposit, 2 from a rich oneBiomass provided37588Weapons991010The Gatherer has no weapon. It permanently raises a friendly unit's health, damage and regeneration for the rest of that unit's life. Since the balance pass of August 11, 2026 the bonus is +45%, down from +50%, and the cost multiplier rose from 0.045 to 0.05 so that it matches the Protectorate shield and the Legion Reanimate.18181919The Gatherer is not eligible for any of the three conversions. Its tags carry no infusion, reanimate or replicate entry, which puts it with the other economy units rather than with the army roster. A Gatherer that dies is replaced by the 60 second respawn instead.20202121Role22222323Everything the Grell do downstream depends on flux and on biomass, and the Gatherer is the only unit that produces both. The cap of ten is the number that shapes the opening: the faction cannot solve a flux shortage by building more harvesters past that point, so the answer is expanding to rich deposits, which pay 2 per trip against a standard deposit's 1. That doubling is the entire argument for contesting a rich field.24242525Biomass Spread only runs while the Gatherer is stationary, which makes idle time productive rather than wasted. A Gatherer parked at a forward deposit quietly extends the mat that Seedlings need to build on, so flux gathering and territory expansion are the same action. The free Cultivator every 60 seconds compounds that: each one generates more biomass and can be upgraded to attack.26262727Faction Context28282929Gatherers come out of the Bloomwell, the Grell mining outpost, and respawn on their own 60 seconds after being destroyed. That respawn is the faction's answer to harvester harassment: killing Gatherers costs the Grell a minute of income each rather than a rebuild queue, so raids that would cripple another faction merely slow this one.30303131Each of the four playable factions sends a different unit to collect flux and works its hexite through a different structure. The Grell use the Gatherer and grow Feeder Vines from the Bloomwell rather than placing Extractors. The full comparison sits in Resources and Economy.32323333Tier and Armour Interactions34343535The Gatherer carries Medium armour with an armour value of 0. Before August 11, 2026 harvesters and extractors had their own armour category; that category was deleted on that date and every unit in it was moved onto Medium, with six units' bonuses retuned as a result. The Gatherer is therefore now vulnerable to the whole Medium bonus pool rather than to a narrow set of anti harvester weapons, which is a meaningful increase in how many things hurt it.36363737The Gatherer has no weapon and so carries no bonus of its own. Its 275 health is a genuine stat rather than a token one, more than a Lasher has, which reflects how much of a target it is.38383939Counters40404141Strong Against42424343TargetWhyNothingThe Gatherer has no weapon. It contributes economy and biomass, never damage.4444Weak To45454646ThreatWhyEarly raidsNo weapon, 500 move speed and 275 health. It cannot defend itself and must be covered by the army.Weapons with a Medium armour bonusSince the harvester armour type was folded into Medium, the Gatherer shares a category with the bulk of the roster.Denial of rich flux depositsA rich deposit pays double. Losing access halves the Gatherer's value without a shot being fired.4747Balance History48484949August 11, 2026: Gatherer move speed reduced from 510 to 500.August 11, 2026: the harvester armour type was deleted and harvesters and extractors, the Gatherer among them, were moved onto Medium armour.August 28, 2026: the Mycelial Reach bonus to Gatherer Spawn Cultivator cast range increased from +200% to +250%. Cultivator health was cut from 250 to 150 in the same pass.50505151Notes52525353The roster record for this unit is COMPLETE. Every core field is published.Community measurement of the current build puts a Gatherer at roughly 1 flux per minute from a standard deposit and 2 from a rich one against a cap of ten Gatherers, where a Legion Labourer runs at 0.7 and 1.4 against a cap of fifteen. Those are observed rates rather than published ones.Per unit numbers are drawn from a community maintained entity catalogue that the studio links from each of its own faction pages. It is the only place the full stat block is published, and it is not a studio document, so the figures are best read as careful community documentation of a build rather than as an official specification. Dated balance notes, by contrast, come straight from the studio patch posts.
