Removed repeated body wikilinks, keeping the first occurrence of each target
11The Judgement is the Arandi Empire capstone unit, Tier 4 and the only Arandi unit that is not available from the moment the group is hired. It arrives through Penumbra Ascendant, the talent at faction level 6, which spawns two of them outright. Like every mercenary unit it is folded into a main faction army rather than played on its own. Its loop is simple and unusual: attacking generates energy, and that energy is spent automatically granting armour to friendly units standing nearby.2233Figures below describe the September 2026 Early Access build, the one carrying the identifier ZS.c36778, and they move with the weekly patch cadence. Roughly half the versus roster had a stat touched in the fortnight before that build was captured, so treat every number here as dated rather than permanent.4455Stat Block6677StatValueCost100 hexite and 200 fluxHealth600ShieldsNot published for this unit in this build. It fires on its own rather than being cast, spending the energy the Judgement banks by attacking.51414The energy pool is 5 and the spell costs 5, so the Judgement runs a full cycle each time rather than storing charges. It arrives with zero energy, which means a freshly spawned pair contributes nothing to the army until they have attacked something.15151616Upgrades17171818No upgrades are published for the Judgement. The unit is itself the payoff of an upgrade: the Penumbra Ascendant talent that unlocks it also raises Penumbra move speed by 50 percent and cuts the Abduct cooldown from 120 seconds to 15.19192020Conversion Costs21212222The Judgement is eligible for Infuse, Reanimate and Replicate at 17.5 power each, the most expensive conversion in the Arandi roster, paid from the top bar pool described on Resources and Economy. Replicate is the interesting one here, because copying a unit that the Arandi player can normally only obtain two of through a talent is a way around that limit.23232424Role25252626Fifty damage in a single hit on a 2.4 second cycle is a heavy hit profile, which is exactly the shape of damage that a flat armour subtraction does least to. Against a target with three armour a Judgement loses three of its fifty, six percent, while a fast weak weapon in the same position loses a third or more. Range 13 is long, and 600 health at six supply is durable for the Arandi, whose other units are all fragile.27272828The armour grant is the reason to bring one rather than two more Asterions. Adding armour to a group is worth most when that group is being hit by many small attacks, which is the opposite of the Judgement own damage profile, so a Judgement standing with cheap infantry is doing more than a Judgement standing alone. The Phoenix Guard at 160 health is the obvious beneficiary.29293030The weakness in the profile is that Energy Pulsar targets ground only. A Judgement in an army with no answer to air is a 600 health body that cannot participate.31313232Counters33333434Strong Against35353636TargetWhyArmoured ground unitsFifty damage per hit loses very little proportionally to a flat armour subtraction.Armies built on fast weak attacksThe armour it grants to nearby allies takes a fixed amount off every one of those hits.Sustained engagementsThe energy loop only pays off once the Judgement has been attacking for a while, so long fights favour it.3737Weak To38383939ThreatWhyAir unitsEnergy Pulsar targets ground only. The older version generated energy from attacking and granted shields to allied units every fifth attack. In this build the spell is Grant Armor, granting armour rather than shields, and the published Shields field was removed from the unit entirely. No studio patch note names the Judgement across the Early Access period covered by the current notes, so the rework above is recorded here as a build observation rather than as an announced change.43434444Notes45454646The roster record for this unit is PARTIAL. Two fields are absent: Shields, which was published as 0 in the previous build and is simply not present in this one, and the production structure, since the Judgement is unlocked by a talent rather than created by a building. The 20 second build time is genuine and is the exception across the whole mercenary roster. Every other mercenary unit is hired rather than built and publishes no build time at all. The Judgement is spawned by a talent rather than recruited in the usual way, which is the likely reason it carries one.The engine path for this unit sits under a multiplayer specific directory rather than with the rest of the Arandi troops, which is consistent with it being a versus mode talent reward.Grant Armor is an automatic spell rather than an activated one. There is no button to press.Per unit numbers are drawn from a community maintained entity catalogue that the studio links from each of its own faction pages. It is the only place the full stat block is published, and it is not a studio document, so the figures are best read as careful community documentation of a build rather than as an official specification. Dated balance notes, by contrast, come straight from the studio patch posts. For the talent line that unlocks it, see Arandi Empire. For the wider roster this unit joins, see Units.
