This page collects the released media for Xenoblade Genesis. As of the June 9, 2026 reveal, the only footage is a single trailer; more is expected as the game approaches its 2027 release.

The reveal trailer is titled "Xenoblade Genesis - Nintendo Direct 6.9.2026" and was uploaded by the official Nintendo of America channel. It debuted during the Nintendo Direct on June 9, 2026. Nintendo's Japanese channel posted the same footage as a Japanese-language cut on the same day, and Nintendo's Japanese product page embeds that version. Nintendo's channels for the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy and the Netherlands each carry their own localised upload as well. That makes seven official uploads of a single trailer across seven of Nintendo's own channels, rather than seven separate trailers. The cuts are not all the same length: the North American upload runs 2 minutes 34 seconds, the five European uploads run 2 minutes 37 seconds, and the Japanese cut runs 2 minutes 43 seconds. No further footage has been released since.
The European uploads carry Nintendo's own English line for the game, "A new beginning is dawning," with a note that it launches on Nintendo Switch 2 next year; each regional channel renders that line in its own language. The North American upload words it differently, calling the game "a new beginning for the series" and coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027. Both are Nintendo's wording rather than a summary of it.
The following details come from the reveal trailer and coverage of it. They are early glimpses rather than fully detailed reveals, so treat them as impressions that may be expanded or clarified later:
A high-fantasy world, described in coverage as the annular (ring-shaped) land of Anshar, lit by the light of six suns. See Setting and World.
The special power called Anima, which flows through the world.
Warriors called Vesselai who can wield Anima, and the academy Leukos where they train.
The reported protagonist, Eleanor, on a journey to become a Vesselai.
An Anima crystone set into a sword, the stone said to amplify a wielder's power over Anima and to record its bearer's life.
Two mounts: a creature resembling a cross between a wolf and a horse, and a dragon ridden by a different character. See Mounts and Exploration.
Main characters with elf-like ears.
Nintendo's storefront listing for the game carries a gallery of six official stills alongside the trailer. These are the first official images released beyond the trailer footage itself, and unlike the announcement images that circulated at reveal they come from the publisher directly. Between them they show:
A settlement of red-roofed buildings on a headland above a bay, with a large circular structure standing in the water below it and a landmass hanging in the sky beyond.
The protagonist in close-up, in a blue and white uniform and holding a slim ornate sword, facing another character in the same uniform. Both have pointed ears.
Three riders crossing a mountain village on wolf-like mounts.
A vaulted hall inside the academy, with uniformed students seated at long benches beneath tall arched windows.
A dark-haired character in a white high-collared jacket at night, with points of light drifting behind them.
Two riders crossing open grassland beneath an immense suspended landmass, with ruined towers on the horizon.

None of the places or characters in these stills is named. They are covered in more detail on Setting and World, Leukos, Mounts and Exploration, and Characters.
Nintendo has stated that more details will be shared in the future. No gameplay presentation, developer interview, or extended footage has been released, and the game did not appear in Nintendo's playable lineup for gamescom 2026, so the trailer and the storefront stills remain the whole of the released media.
