This page tracks the characters of Xenoblade Genesis. As of the June 9, 2026 reveal the cast is essentially unrevealed: one character has been named, and that name comes from reporting on the reveal trailer in both English and Japanese rather than from any of Nintendo's product pages. The trailer does not name her on screen. Treat the entry below as early, unconfirmed information.

Eleanor is described in coverage of the reveal trailer as the protagonist, a young woman who sets out to become a Vesselai and who studies at the academy called Leukos. Her name is not stated on Nintendo's official page, so it should be treated as reported rather than fully confirmed.
Unnamed Characters in Official Stills
Nintendo's official screenshots show several characters besides the protagonist, none of them named. A second figure in the same uniform, also with pointed ears, faces her in one still. Two more ride alongside her on mounts in another. A fourth, a dark-haired character in a white high-collared jacket, appears alone at night with points of light drifting behind them. The wider set of official images released with the reveal shows more of the cast, none of them named either: a dark-haired man in an open white shirt outdoors, a magenta-haired character indoors, a pair facing each other in an ornate blue uniform and a studded jacket, and a platinum-blonde figure lit by fire, wearing a headband marked with a gold X. Most of them share the pointed ears the protagonist has. Whether any of these are party members, classmates, antagonists, or figures from a single scene has not been stated, so none of them appear in the table above.

The identity of the companions who ride alongside the protagonist in official stills, and whether they are party members at all.
Antagonists or major rival figures.
Supporting cast, mentors, or named members of the Leukos academy.
The voice cast in any language.
