Multiple Ancient Chest spawns in each Ancient Village roll the same loot pool, so a single thorough sweep of an Ancient Village can yield several Ritual Oil pickups in a row.
Ritual Oil is a Senkamati relic rather than a crafting reagent. Like the Ritual Dagger and Ritual Mask, it carries no station recipe in the current build; the expected use is to recover it from ruins and flip it for coin. The Smugglers of Port Royal run a dedicated buyer for relics of the vanished ancient people, so accumulate Ritual Oil as a side trade good on any Senkamati Artifacts farm rather than as a primary income source.
Because it stacks to 99 and weighs little, there is no penalty to hoarding a stack between sell trips. Keep it in a base chest until you have a full inventory of relics to off-load in one run to Tortuga or a smuggler base.
