The Reliable Musket is an S-tier ranged weapon in Windrose, dealing 600 Pierce damage per shot (the highest per-shot damage in the launch build). It reloads faster than standard muskets and the Epic variant adds +20% Critical Damage. The Reliable Musket is the Marksman build's signature weapon, capable of one-shotting most non-elite enemies and delivering massive opening damage to bosses.

• Attributes: Precision (primary), Mastery (for crit), Endurance for stamina

• Food buffs: Precision +20 (Swamp Pie); Mastery foods for crit

How to Use

• Open boss fights with a Reliable Musket headshot for major opening damage; the 600 Pierce can chunk 30-50% of a boss's HP bar at gear tier 10+

• Use the long range to engage from distances enemies cannot close before you reload

• Pair with a melee weapon for switching after the musket fires; muskets are not viable for sustained close combat

• The Bull's Eye talent's crit-spot chance combined with the Epic variant's +20% Crit Damage produces enormous burst damage on critical hits

• Conserve gunpowder; muskets use more gunpowder per shot than pistols and ammunition is scarce throughout Early Access
