Rage

"Rage" is not a canonical status effect in the live Windrose build. It appears in some community references as a carryover from an earlier naming pass. In the Early Access launch build, the Executioner halberd's on-kill critical-hit buff is called Decimation and the paired Epic-tier damage-resistance effect is called Apathy. Both effects are documented on the Decimation page.

Why the Rename

Windrose went through several pre-launch name changes during its transition from Crosswind to the Kraken Express studio rebrand in early 2026. Some status-effect names (and armor-set names) shifted between the demo period and the April 14, 2026 Early Access launch. "Rage" is one of those shifted labels. The canonical in-game text at launch uses Decimation for the Executioner's crit-stack buff. Secondary community sources that still use "Rage" are referring to the same mechanic under its earlier label.
