Plans: Privateer's Coat is a single-use Recipe Paper in Windrose that teaches the Privateer's Doublet, the Rare chest piece of the Privateer Set. Reading the paper unlocks the doublet recipe permanently for that character; the paper is then consumed.

What it Unlocks

Reading the paper adds the Privateer's Doublet to your armor crafting list. The doublet is a cloth chest piece worn on the torso slot and is one of the pieces that builds toward the Privateer Set bonuses. Once the recipe is known, the piece is crafted at the Armor and Clothing Workshop; its first tier costs 7 Coarse Fabric and 2 Rough Hide, and the finished piece weighs 2.0.

Where to Buy

The plan is sold by the People of Tortuga Provisioner once you reach Reputation Rank 2 with the People of Tortuga faction. It is the same reputation rank that opens the Privateer pants plan, so a single Rank 2 standing unlocks the first two pieces of the set.

Privateer Set Bonuses

The Privateer's Doublet counts as one piece toward the Privateer Set bonuses, which reward stacking multiple pieces from the same line.
