Rewrote Paintings hub with full item table (17 items) and updated placement/tips (2026-04-18)
Paintings is wall-mounted framed art. Paintings are wall-mounted framed artworks. Windrose groups them by subject: Landscape, Sea Landscape, Urban Landscape, Portrait, and Still Life. Each base subject has several frame/pattern variants.

Paintings hang from any wall piece. They snap to the wall center and are oriented toward the room interior.
Subject choice sets the mood: a Sea Landscape for a captain's cabin, an Urban Landscape for a merchant's office, Portraits for a hall of ancestors, and Still Life for a dining room.
Frame variants mostly change the frame color and trim; the painting inside changes with the variant number.
Hang a series of Portraits in a row along a hallway for an ancestor gallery.
