Dearest Letty,

I swear to you, I'll be back soon. None of the Children of the Ark will ever reach us. I managed to slip away unnoticed and get in touch with one of the Governor's men. He promised to help us if I tell him everything about the cult's leader and his dark dealings. We'll even have money, Letty.

Wait for me on Tortuga, my dear. We'll go to Boston and start a new life. We'll open a shop and forget this nightmare ever happened.

Now then, the captain is calling for me. He wants me to hide in my cabin, because some ship has appeared on the horizon. It must be the Governor's people.
