The Iron Door Key is the heavier counterpart of the standard Door Key, reserved for reinforced iron doors at Blackbeard Outposts and the deeper rooms of Senkamati ruins. The route past an iron door tends to lead to a chest cluster or a quest-relevant officer.

Iron Door Keys drop from Sergeant and Lieutenant-tier officers at the matching outpost. The key is consumed on use; one drop equals one door.
Iron doors are the reinforced version of the ordinary locked doors that the standard Door Key handles. You meet them most often inside Blackbeard Outposts and in the deeper chambers of Senkamati ruins, where the room beyond usually holds a chest cluster, a stash of loot, or a quest-relevant officer rather than a simple corridor.
Key | Opens | Where Found |
|---|---|---|
Standard locked doors | Common camp and outpost guards | |
Reinforced iron doors | Sergeant and Lieutenant officers | |
Supply wagon cargo chests | Wagon escorts and their leader | |
Vault and strongroom locks | High-tier officer drops |
Each key is consumed on use, so carry at least one Iron Door Key per locked room you plan to clear; the stack of 99 leaves plenty of headroom.
Officers do not always drop a key on the first kill, so be ready to clear a few Sergeant or Lieutenant spawns before the door opens.
Iron doors are one-way gates to better loot; it is worth backtracking once you have a spare key rather than skipping a sealed room.
