Disciplined Fencer is a talent in the Fencer branch of the Windrose Talent System. Every successful Perfect Block restores a percentage of the current Passive Gun Reload bar. Lets Fencer and off-hand-pistol hybrids trade parries for refilled ammo in ongoing fights.

Build Role

Disciplined Fencer is the block-focused choice node. It turns Perfect Blocks into ammo, which is the resource that limits Pistol-Fencer hybrid rotations in extended fights.

Math Example

At rank 3 (35%) a Perfect Block against an Israel Hands swing restores 35% of the current Passive Gun Reload progress. If the reload bar is at 60% when the block lands, the bar jumps to 95%, which is effectively one extra pistol shot before the block chain ends.

Notes

• Mutually exclusive with Evasive Fencer. Investing any points here locks Evasive Fencer until respec at a Bonfire.

• Passive Reload rate itself is accelerated by Planning Ahead; Disciplined Fencer multiplies the gain from Planning Ahead.
