44 Cayenne Pepper is a Coastal Jungle crop. Wild plants grow deeper inside the forest rather than along the edges, and they can also be raised at home from Cayenne Pepper Seeds sown in a Seedbed. A planted sapling matures in 1h 10m and yields 3 to 4 peppers plus a seed for replanting. It is the signature ingredient of every spicy named dish in the launch build, and it also goes into Gunroom Grog, the reload-speed drink for ranged builds.
