Bonecrusher is a talent in the Crusher branch of the Windrose Talent System. Increases damage when the hit registers as Crude damage type (Clubs, Maces, some two-handed weapons). Crude is also the damage type for gathering rocks and ore deposits, so this has dual utility.

Mandatory on Clubs and Maces. Situational on Halberds (most are Slash). Trap on Greatswords (pure Slash) and on pure Pierce firearm builds.

Bonecrusher is the Crude-specific damage layer. Clubs and Maces are the primary beneficiaries; Halberds only gain if the specific halberd variant is Crude (most are Slash).
A Sturdy Mace doing 285 Crude per swing becomes 310 Crude at rank 3 Bonecrusher. Over a 10-swing boss phase, that is roughly 250 extra total damage, equivalent to cutting one to two swings off the boss's HP bar.
Also applies to the Crude damage used when gathering rocks and ore deposits, so has dual utility outside combat.
Does not apply to Greatswords (pure Slash) or Pierce firearm builds. Check the weapon card before committing points.
