1313 The two Tumbaga Ingots from this camp are, for most players, the first ascension material they ever hold. They are the difference between hitting a Rare-tier wall at level 8 and being able to ascend the first Rare weapon (commonly the Rapier of a Thousand Cuts from the buried treasure trail) to Epic. The second Fast Travel Bell is almost as valuable because it lets the player anchor a quick warp point on the far side of the starting island and fast-travel between the shipwreck spawn and the camp without wasting stamina on the round trip.

1717 The hidden-button chest is the game's first real puzzle. The button sits under the staircase on the south side of the warehouse; crouching below the stairs and interacting reveals it. Pressing the button unlocks a nearby locked container. Players who miss the button can still reach the elevated chest and the Fast Travel Bell, but they lose one of the two Tumbaga Ingots.

3333 The Abandoned Buccaneer Camp is also the first of three loot sites for the Glorious Hunters side quest given by Henri Boucher of the Rogue Buccaneers. Looting the Broken Musket here seeds the quest into your journal and places a new map pin at the Rogue Buccaneers Main Base. The first page of Marcel Boucher's Diary is in the same chest.

3535 The other two Glorious Hunters loot sites are the Abandoned Buccaneer Warehouse (Damaged Flask + second diary page) and the Destroyed Buccaneer Fort (Torn Hat + Marcel's Last Letter). Players who clear all three, report to Henri with the Broken Musket, and then sink three named pirate ships at sea earn the Buccaneer's Friend musket and +200 Rogue Buccaneers faction reputation. The Abandoned Buccaneer Camp can therefore do double duty on a single visit: grab the second Fast Travel Bell, the two Tumbaga Ingots, and the Broken Musket in the same trip.
