The audio side of Virtua Fighter Crossroads has been given an unusually prominent place in the game's public rollout. Rather than saving the soundtrack for a launch-window reveal, the studio built several of its marketing pieces around the music and published full credits for two named theme songs.
Theme Song

The first of the game's two named theme songs is "Legacy". It is a rap track, and the credits published with it name the performers and the production staff in full.
Role | Credited |
|---|---|
Rap vocals and lyrics | El Gran Nael |
Composition and arrangement | Yasuyuki Nagata |
Rap vocal production | Yuki Kanesaka |
Recording engineer | Kenji Nakai |
Mix engineer | Yoshitada Miya |
Sound supervisor | Jun Senoue |
The same credits appear on the full showcase presentation, which used the track as well, so "Legacy" is being treated as the game's signature theme rather than a one-off trailer licence.
Second Theme: "Vilasapara"
A second named track, "Vilasapara", is credited alongside "Legacy" on the official trailer and showcase material. Named after the city itself, it is a vocal piece rather than a rap track, and it carries a separate set of credits.
Role | Credited |
|---|---|
Vocals | Yosh (Survive Said The Prophet) |
Lyrics | nana hatori |
Composition and arrangement | Makoto Tokuyama |
Both tracks are credited together wherever the game's music is listed, so the score already has at least two distinct vocal contributors and two separate composers working on it.
Releases
"Legacy" has been published in two official forms. An animated music video went out in late June 2026 and became one of the most-watched pieces of Crossroads media, and a lyric video followed in early August 2026, putting the words on screen for the first time.
"Legacy" is billed as coming from the game's original soundtrack, so a wider score exists, but no soundtrack release or full track list has been announced beyond the two named themes. Beyond the two themes, the other audio detail confirmed so far concerns the campaign's presentation: Story Mode carries a more mature tone than earlier entries in the series, including coarse language, which sets the register for its voice work.
What Has Not Been Announced
Several standard audio questions remain open. The team has not published a voice cast, has not confirmed which languages will have spoken dialogue, and has not said whether players will be able to mix and match voice tracks. Nothing has been announced about a physical or digital soundtrack release either.
