Solo and cooperative play
Missions support solo play or a group with up to two friends, for three players in total. Haven social hubs can hold up to ten players, which is a separate limit from the mission party size.
Parties can become private when a mission begins before the group is full. This keeps the party out of the available parties list during that mission.
Earlier matchmaking changes
The July 3, 2025 test removed the Lone Wolf perk after introducing separate solo and duo queues. Solo players could still choose the duo queue. The December 4, 2025 test added trios and enabled drop-in with a five-minute match-entry threshold.
