Spectral knights are ghostly manifestations of the legendary Knights of the Round Table, summoned by Gwendolyn through the mysterious gray fog. They fight alongside her using the Dual Frontline Battle System. Over 10 spectral knights are unlockable throughout the game, each with a distinct fighting style and elemental power.

Confirmed knights

Sir Lamorak

Sir Lamorak wields red electrical/lightning-based attacks. He can imbue Gwendolyn's sword with electrical energy and provides swift battlefield movement. In Arthurian legend, Lamorak was considered one of the strongest knights of the Round Table and a rival of Sir Gawain. He was eventually killed through treachery rather than fair combat.

Palamedes

Palamedes uses orange flame-based attacks with rapid movement capabilities. In Arthurian tradition, Palamedes was a Saracen knight who converted to Christianity and was one of the most skilled jousters at the Round Table, known for his pursuit of the Questing Beast.

Unnamed ice knight

Early footage shows a knight with ice-based attacks capable of launching enemies airborne for aerial combos. The identity of this knight has not been revealed.

Team composition

Players select four knights organized into two pairs. Swapping between pairs is instantaneous. Building teams with complementary elements and combat styles, pairing a melee lightning knight with a ranged fire knight for example, creates synergies that reward experimentation.

Arthurian design philosophy

The developers intentionally feature lesser-known Arthurian figures rather than defaulting to Arthur, Lancelot, and Guinevere. Sir Lamorak and Palamedes are relatively obscure compared to the Round Table's most famous members, and the game treats them as fully realized combat companions rather than background references.
