Added the official collector's edition contents graphic showing all seven published components, captioned with the stated note that the voucher image does not represent the final armour or weapon set
The Relic: First Guardian is a paid title sold digitally on PC and PlayStation 5. It launched at $49.99 (US) and dropped permanently to $34.99 (US) / £29.99 (GB) on 26 August 2026. A physical PlayStation 5 release arrives on 4 September 2026. One add-on pack is available, and it was given free to anyone who pre-ordered.
The standard edition contains the full game and there is no separate deluxe digital edition. Pricing changed a month after launch.
Period | Price | Platforms |
|---|---|---|
31 July to 25 August 2026 | $49.99 (US) | PC and PlayStation 5 |
From 26 August 2026, now live | $34.99 (US) / £29.99 (GB) | PC and PlayStation 5, permanently |
From 25 September 2026 | $34.99 (US) | Xbox Series X|S at launch |
From 9 October 2026 | $34.99 (US) | Nintendo Switch 2 at launch |
The publisher framed the reduction as a permanent change made to bring the game to more players rather than a sale. The new price went live on 26 August 2026 on both PC and PlayStation 5. See Platforms and Release for the platform and rating breakdown.
Because the price cut left launch buyers having paid more, the publisher announced a permanent thank-you for them. Players who bought on PC or PlayStation 5 before the cut received two named items, the Sealing Stone of Gratitude and the Sealing Stone of the First Oath, which permanently grant access to two new dungeons with their own boss fights and loot. Patch 13 added the stones on 19 August 2026 and set out how to claim them: download the patch, then start or load the game before the cutoff. Patch 14 removed the chests they had been placed in and made the grant automatic on starting or loading a save. Sealing stones as a general mechanic are covered on the Relics and Runes System page.
The claim window opened with Patch 13 on 19 August 2026 and closed when the price dropped, at a different moment on each platform.
Platform | Claim window closed |
|---|---|
PC | 25 August 2026 at 11:59 PM UK time |
PlayStation 5 | 26 August 2026 at midnight local time |
Neither dungeon is playable yet. Patch 13 describes the two stones as key items that will be used to unlock dungeons scheduled for a future update, and the publisher has said the dungeon content and its release date will be revealed in due course. Players who missed the window are not shut out permanently: the publisher has said the reward will be made available for purchase at a later date for anyone who was not eligible.
This pack was the pre-order bonus and is now sold separately for $9.99 (US). It adds a self-contained dungeon with its own questline and a set of exclusive rewards, framed as a head start for a new Guardian.
Content | Detail |
|---|---|
Dungeon | Sanctuary of the Forgotten Light, a unique dungeon reached through its own questline |
Relic (Sealstone) | Sealstone of the Undying Ember |
Armour | Armor of the Unextinguished Vigil |
Weapon | Unextinguished Vigil, a Sword & Shield set |
Gold | Over 1,700, for health buffs and other consumables |
Relic Energy | Over 1,500, used to equip skills on your chosen weapons |
Materials | Upgrade materials for the Blacksmith |
The gear carries the same story-bearing framing as the rest of the game's loot. The Unextinguished Vigil is described as the sword and shield a sentinel named Hervan refused to release on the night the mist was at its thickest, and the Sealstone of the Undying Ember as a faint light that endured within the cold mist. A sealstone is a kind of Relic tied to hidden dungeons, covered on the Relics and Runes System page.
The pack does not unlock at the start of the game. Its entry point sits out in the world, and players initially had trouble finding it; the publisher put out a short guide video showing the location. A later patch also moved the DLC so that it appears by the second fast travel point, making it easier to reach early. Owning the pack is enough to make the questline available once you get there.
A boxed PlayStation 5 release arrives on 4 September 2026. It bundles a premium physical map of Arsilthus together with two bonus content packs: The Night of the Unextinguished Flame and a second pack, The Black Banquet. Nothing has been published about the second pack beyond its name. It does not appear in the publisher's announcements, and neither digital storefront lists it as an add-on.
A collector's edition branded the Forgotten Stories Edition was announced for PlayStation 5 through select retailers in November 2025. The publisher set out its full contents on an official graphic at the same time, and those seven components are listed below. Three of them use the older spelling Arsiltus because they are product names printed on a 2025 package; the world itself is spelled Arsilthus everywhere else.

Exclusive Steelbook | Steelbook case |
Official Arsiltus Collectable Coin | Collectable coin |

The publisher has also committed to planting one tree for every copy sold, through a partnership with a reforestation programme. No official price has been published for the edition, so the figures quoted by individual retailers are not recorded here. Availability varies by retailer and region.
