The Bustling World is an open-world RPG set in ancient China, developed by FireWo Games and published by Lightning Games. The game lets players farm, craft, build, run businesses, commit crimes, and explore.

Setting

A fictional version of ancient China with hand-painted graphics and physics-based animations. The visual style recreates traditional Chinese clothing and culture.

Gameplay

Players can take different paths:

- Survival and Cultivation - Gather resources and grow stronger

- Crafting and Building - Make items and build structures using nearly 2000 components and 1000 artifacts

- Management and Diplomacy - Run businesses and deal with other factions

- Combat and Exploration - Fight enemies and find secrets

Martial Arts

The game includes eighteen weapon types and martial arts secrets to find. Combat activities include hunting wild animals, bounty hunting, catching fugitives, clearing bandit camps, and exploring temples, caves, and ruins.

Players can recruit martial artists to join them.

Factions

The world has various groups to interact with: martial arts schools, gambling dens, secret banks, outlaw hideouts, and reclusive sects.

Players can trade with factions, learn their techniques, uncover their secrets, manipulate them, join them, destroy them, or rebuild them.

Full audio and subtitles in English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean. Single-player only.
