Spear Magicite Build
October 23, 2026 at 05:18 AM
Added Spear setups with capacity totals, rarity thresholds and high-Life conditions
A Spear setup can build around repeated attacks from outside an enemy's immediate reach. Three-Headed Dragon widens those attacks, while Magic Spear and High Spirits reward keeping Life high. The important constraint is fitting the actual rarity of each piece inside the weapon's Magicite box.
The initial capacity is 15. At one star, Attack Up costs 5, Critical Damage Up costs 4 and Charge Time Down costs 4, for a combined cost of 13. This leaves a functional damage-and-charge setup without requiring an early capacity purchase.
Piece | One-star effect | Cost |
|---|---|---|
Attack Up | Raises Spear attack by 2. | 5 |
Critical Damage Up | Raises critical-hit damage by 10%. | 4 |
Charge Time Down | Reduces charge time by 10%. | 4 |
High Spirits and Flame Rush are useful additions once the budget permits them. The full five-piece early combination of Attack Up, Critical Damage Up, High Spirits, Charge Time Down and Flame Rush costs 27 if all five are one star. It therefore does not fit the starting box. At five stars the same combination costs 23. These totals are sums of the listed equip costs, not an extra cost charged by the shop.
Piece | Role | Cost at 1 star / 5 stars |
|---|---|---|
Three-Headed Dragon | Splits ordinary attacks into three directions. | 13 / 9 |
Magic Spear | Adds an extra attack while the Life requirement is met. | 12 / 10 |
High Spirits | Adds 20% critical-hit rate while the Life requirement is met. | 8 / 6 |
Critical Damage Up | Improves the damage of those critical hits. | 4 / 4 |
Boar Rush | Prevents damage during Spear special attacks. | 9 / 5 |
The five pieces total 46 at one star and 34 at five stars. The shop's capacity upgrades rise in increments of five, so those examples require at least 50 or 35 capacity respectively. Mixed rarities have their own total; use the current cost shown for each item instead of assuming the five-star minimum.
At one and two stars, Magic Spear and High Spirits require at least 90% Life. Their threshold falls to 80% at three and four stars, then 70% at five stars. Both pieces reward spacing and avoiding hits, so a low-Life exchange can remove more damage than the lost health alone suggests.
Use the Spear's reach to attack from a safe distance, then charge when there is a clear opening. Boar Rush protects the special attack itself; it does not make every movement or ordinary thrust invulnerable. Flame Rush is an alternative modifier for special attacks, leaving a pillar of fire after the charge.
Elliot equips two weapons at once. A Sword supplies quicker broad swings, while a Boomerang can cover a wider area at range. Their magicite costs use their own weapon boxes, so a second weapon does not consume the Spear box's remaining budget.
Three-Headed Dragon and Magic Spear are goals rather than guaranteed early drops. Form Rank 5 unlocks formation for a selected weapon type, improving the ability to focus on Spear pieces. Use the pieces actually owned until the necessary modifiers and capacity are available. The full rarity table remains on the main Spear page.
