Swords of Legends is in development for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. It is a single-player title with no multiplayer component announced, and it runs on Unreal Engine 5.

No release date or release window has been announced. As of September 2026 the game remains undated. The studio first revealed it in August 2025 and followed with a new gameplay trailer in June 2026, but a launch date is still to come.

Key Facts

The game supports eleven languages: English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Latin America), and Portuguese (Brazil). English and Simplified Chinese ship with full voice audio, and the rest are text only.

Business Model

The studio has described the game in English as a premium single-player action RPG, and in Chinese as a 单机买断制 release, meaning a single-player title bought once rather than run as a service. No multiplayer, subscription, season pass or in-game store has been announced.

Age Ratings

The game has not been rated by every board, but three ratings have already been issued and are carried on the store listing. All three cite violence in a fantasy setting as the only content concern, and no other content descriptors are attached.

No North American or pan-European rating has been assigned yet, which is normal for a title without a release date. Separately, the terms of service covering the official website took effect on 17 August 2025 and name Aurogon Info&Tech (Shanghai) Co., Ltd as the operating entity; they ask anyone under 18 to read the terms with a parent and use the site only with parental consent.

A Simultaneous Global Launch

The studio has said it is aiming for a simultaneous worldwide release covering both console and PC, rather than launching in Chinese-speaking regions first and adding territories later. Console and PC versions are being built in parallel, and multi-language versions including multi-language voice-over are in development alongside them rather than being added after the fact.

That plan sits behind the store listing rather than contradicting it. The listing currently marks English and Simplified Chinese as the two languages with full audio, which reflects the state of the build today; the broader voice-over work is a stated development goal for release. The team has also said localisation will follow the linguistic habits and conventions of each region rather than being handled uniformly.

The parallel development is not only a scheduling choice. The studio has said the console and PC builds are being brought along together specifically so that feedback gathered on one applies to both, and the July 2026 hands-on ran PlayStation 5 test units on the floor alongside the PCs for that reason.

Platform Features

The PC listing advertises full controller support, covering DualShock and DualSense pads and the Steam Input API, and the title is enabled for Family Sharing. It is listed as single-player only, with no cooperative or competitive mode and no online requirement stated. Minimum system requirements are published but still unfilled, with the operating system, processor and graphics entries all marked as to be decided.
