New article: Zephyria character guide with backstory, location, tracking, gift lists, quests, and romance details
Zephyria is the Exploration Mentor and head of the Exploration Club in Green Meadow. He arrived on Starsand Island two years before the game's events, seeking to carry on his own mentor's life's work. He founded the Islands Exploration Club to honor that mentor's legacy and has since dedicated himself to uncovering the island's hidden secrets as an archaeologist and adventurer.
Zephyria is one of 15 romanceable characters. His confident charm and love of adventure make him a natural companion for players who want to explore the Moonlit Forest and its mysteries.
Zephyria is smart, self-assured, and always ready for a side quest. He carries strong hero energy and is not shy about showing off his knowledge of ruins, combat, and the Moonlit Forest. Beneath the bravado, he is genuinely eager to share what he knows and takes real pride in mentoring aspiring explorers. He can be elusive and unpredictable — he roams around rather than staying in one place, which makes tracking him down part of the fun.
Zephyria can usually be found at or near the Exploration Club in Green Meadow, located north of the Green Pasture Ranch on the west side of the map. Specifically, look for him:
Inside the shop: Behind the counter at the Exploration Club store (open 08:00-22:00).
Under a tree: Sitting under the tree to the left of the club building.
Archery targets: Practicing archery at the targets down the hill from the club.
His bedroom is inside the Exploration Club building, but you need at least 3 hearts before you can enter.
Once you have interacted with Zephyria, his contact appears in your phone's Social app.
Locate: Shows his current position on the map and draws a route to get there.
Follow: Tracks his movements in real time. His location appears as a flag that moves with him.
Tracking is especially useful for Zephyria since he tends to wander more than most characters.
Gifts Zephyria loves are worth 15 Affection Points. He reacts with a flowery aura around his head. As the Exploration Mentor, he favors items found in the Moonlit Forest.

As the Exploration Mentor, Zephyria guides you through the Explorer profession tiers: Apprentice, Junior, Senior, and Expert. Visit the Exploration Club to begin the exploration questline.
During your first meeting, Zephyria gives you a Slingshot blueprint and Simple Pellets — essential tools for entering the Moonlit Forest. Completing his initial quest grants the Apprentice Explorer Certificate.
At the Intermediate tier, he tasks you with earning the Ruins Key (Right). Combined with the Ruins Key (Left) found separately in Azure Bay, both keys open a massive gate near Mural Valley leading to the Glintortle boss fight — an armored creature with a glowing crystal weak point on its back.
The Exploration Club shop is open from 08:00 to 22:00 and sells adventuring tools, materials, and blueprints. Inventory expands as you advance through certification levels.
Starting tier: Ammo Maker blueprint, Simple Pellet blueprint.
Junior tier: Blast Pellet, Stink Bomb, Plume Bow, and Arrow blueprints.
Senior tier: Gale Arrow, Wood Arrow blueprints.
Expert tier: Time Arrow blueprint (approximately 4,500 coins).
He also sells cooking recipes that restore HP instead of stamina. Completing the full Explorer profession unlocks a unique mount for free.
Zephyria triggers a special meet-cute cutscene the first time you encounter him. His romance arc appeals to players who enjoy adventurous, confident personalities. Asking him to be your exploration mentor provides natural bonding opportunities as you progress through the Moonlit Forest together.
At Heart Level 3, you can enter his bedroom inside the Exploration Club, which contains a treasure chest with exclusive decor. At Heart Level 5, you can ask him to move in with you. He will then help around the farm — clearing debris, tending animals, and watering plants.
