Mandarinfish is a fish species in Starsand Island. Celestwave is a special deep-sea zone with its own unique fish species.

How to Catch

Equip Veggie Bait and chum the water at a celestwave fishing spot during the catch window (20:00-00:00). Cast onto a visible fish shadow and reel in when the line is taut. Watch the line color: yellow means Mandarinfish is close to breaking free, red means it has escaped.

Pond Breeding

Mandarinfish requires 1 oxygen unit of pond capacity. The Small Fish Pond and Stone Fish Pond hold 12 oxygen each, and the Medium Fish Pond holds 40. Plan stocking carefully to avoid exceeding capacity.

Tips

• Sell vs cook vs pond. At 103g, Mandarinfish can be sold raw, processed into Fish Fillet at the Separator, or stocked in a pond for breeding.

• Track time and weather. Open the Phone Apps to check weather forecasts. Some fish only spawn under specific conditions, and missing the window means waiting for the next cycle.
