Overview

Kelp is a type of seaweed found in Starsand Island's ocean and coastal waters. Along with Wakame, it is one of the two seaweed varieties in the game. Kelp is primarily used in the Tofu Seaweed Soup recipe and can be sold at shops for a small profit.

Where to Find

Kelp can be gathered from the island's ocean areas:

• Shoreline: Check beaches and rocky coastline sections for Kelp washed up on shore or growing in shallow water.

• Ocean Fishing: Kelp can be caught while fishing in ocean spots. Seaweed appears as fish-shaped shadows in the water, similar to actual fish.

• Port Areas: After completing the Starsand Port Construction quest (15 Stone + 15 Softwood), you gain access to deeper ocean fishing areas where Kelp may appear more frequently.
