Glass Brick is the fired glass intermediate in Starsand Island. The glass chain runs in two steps: Quartz Ore is fired into Glass Brick at the Furnace I, and Glass Brick is then cut into Glass Pane at the Cutter I. A few recipes use the heavy brick form directly.

Where to Get Quartz Ore

Major Uses

• Glass Pane production. 1 Glass Brick cuts into 1 Glass Pane at the Cutter I; panes are the form most furniture and station recipes want.

• Bait Maker. The Bait Maker station is built from 5 Glass Bricks + 1 Solid-State Battery at the Worktable.

• Sewing Table. Building the Sewing Table takes 4 Glass Bricks.

• Direct-use decor. A handful of recipes, such as the Prism-3000 Rod and some bathroom fixtures, consume the brick form directly.

Tips

• Cut most bricks into panes. Panes have far more consumers than bricks; keep only a small brick reserve for the recipes above.
