Bastrom Heights overview

Bastrom Heights (also spelled Barston Heights) is a mountainous temple area in the northern part of Starsand Island. It is home to Youfang, the fortune teller, and features the island's highest temple with panoramic views. The area is known for its serene atmosphere, stone pavilions, and hidden treasure chests.

Key landmarks

• Bastrom Temple: The main temple at the summit, where Youfang resides. His bedroom is inside

• Stone pavilion: A pavilion in the center with a stone tablet

• Pond: A decorative pond near the temple area

• Secret pavilion: A hidden pavilion north of the main temple, accessible by jumping off the mountain from the highest point and gliding to the right side

Treasure chests

Bastrom Heights contains several treasure chests:

• To the right of the main Bastrom temple

• To the left of the Bastrom Heights pond

• Inside Youfang's bedroom in the main temple

• At the secret pavilion (requires jumping off the mountain)

Getting there

Bastrom Heights is in the northeastern area of the island, past Cloudrest Lake. You can reach it on foot, by vehicle, or via the nearest bus station. The path uphill involves some climbing, so bring adequate stamina food.

Youfang

Youfang is the island's fortune teller and resides at Bastrom Heights. He is frequently away from the temple, making him one of the harder characters to find consistently. His name is the same across all language versions (Chinese, Japanese, English). He is fully romanceable. Use the Social app on your phone to track his location when he wanders.

Tips

• The secret pavilion is easy to miss. Look for it when you reach the summit by checking the right side

• Bastrom Heights is primarily an exploration and treasure-hunting area, not a combat zone

• The views from the temple make it a great screenshot location

• If you cannot find Youfang, check early morning. He is sometimes near the temple around dawn
