Landspeeders

Initial version (2026-06-24)
Landspeeders are one of the four Repulsorcraft classes in Star Wars: Galactic Racer. They are the weighty option. A landspeeder has real weight to it, and that weight is the point: the frame specializes in drifting around corners. If the speeder bike is about raw straight-line pace, the landspeeder is about carrying speed through turns by sliding rather than fighting them.
The class's signature chassis trait is Drift, which fits how it flies. The weight that would make a lighter frame feel sluggish instead gives the landspeeder its cornering identity, letting you break the back end loose and ride a slide through a turn. A pilot who is comfortable drifting can hold a clean, fast line where a twitchier frame would have to scrub speed.

Like every class, landspeeders are heavily customizable. You build them from the shared pool of over 300 parts and tune the four base stats, Afterburner, Battery, Cornering, and Ramjet, between races. Cornering in particular plays into a drift-focused frame's strength. The full build system is on Gameplay and Controls.
The Digital Deluxe Edition includes an exclusive landspeeder, the Kor Sarun: Darc X. Kor Sarun is a vehicle line rather than a character, and the Darc X is its landspeeder entry, bundled with the Deluxe Edition's other two Kor Sarun vehicles. The Deluxe lineup and the rest of its contents are covered on Editions and Pre-Order Bonuses.
