Added the separately released digital soundtrack, confirmed the Departure Brooch effect, and gave exact values for each save-data bonus magicite
The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales is available in several editions at launch on June 18, 2026, ranging from a standard digital or physical release to a Square Enix Store-exclusive Collector's Edition with physical merchandise.
Edition | Price (USD) | Where Available | Contents |
|---|---|---|---|
Standard Edition | $59.99 | All platforms (digital and physical) | Base game only |
Digital Deluxe Edition | $69.99 | PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2 (digital) | Base game + Digital Deluxe Edition Pack (three accessories) |
Collector's Edition | $229.99 | Square Enix Store only, limited quantities | Physical game + Digital Deluxe upgrade code + 4-disc original soundtrack + Faie desktop clock diorama |
Collector's Box (without game) | ~$160 | Square Enix Store only | Digital Deluxe upgrade code + 4-disc original soundtrack + Faie desktop clock diorama (no physical game) |
Amazon Exclusive Edition | $59.99 | Amazon (PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2) | Physical game + double-sided fold-out poster (same base price as Standard) |
The Standard Edition includes the base game only and is available digitally on all four platforms and physically at retail. The digital price is $59.99 USD on PC (Steam) and PlayStation 5.
The Digital Deluxe Edition is available for $69.99 USD and includes the base game plus the Digital Deluxe Edition Pack, which contains three in-game accessories:
Fairy Bangle accessory
Cherry Blossom Anklet accessory
Roselle Ring accessory
The Digital Deluxe Edition is available as a bundle SKU on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2. Players who already own the Standard Edition can purchase a Digital Deluxe Upgrade separately to receive the three accessories without re-purchasing the game. The Nintendo UK store page for the upgrade includes a warning: "The contents of this upgrade are included in Digital Deluxe Edition... Take care to avoid making duplicate purchases."
The Collector's Edition is available exclusively through the Square Enix Store in limited quantities, priced at $229.99 USD. It includes:
Physical copy of the game
Code for the Digital Deluxe Upgrade (Fairy Bangle, Cherry Blossom Anklet, and Roselle Ring accessories)
4-disc original soundtrack CD set: "The newly mastered The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales Original Soundtrack"
"Faie and the Door of Time Desktop Clock": a diorama-style tabletop clock modeled after the in-game Doorway of Time, measuring W180 x D180 x H220 mm
A Collector's Box edition without the physical game is also available from the Square Enix Store at approximately $160, containing the soundtrack, clock diorama, and Digital Deluxe upgrade code only.
The soundtrack packed with the Collector's Edition was also released on its own in digital form on June 23, 2026, priced at $22.98. It gathers 105 tracks, among them four that differ from the versions heard in game, plus arranged pieces written to evoke each of the four ages. Its contents match the discs included with the Collector's Edition, so buying both duplicates the same music.
Amazon offers an exclusive physical edition for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 at $59.99 USD, matching the standard physical price. The only additional item is a double-sided fold-out poster. The Amazon Exclusive Edition also qualifies for Elliot's Departure Pack if ordered before the preorder deadline.
Players who preorder any edition, or purchase the game before the cutoff, receive Elliot's Departure Pack, which includes:
Departure brooch accessory: slightly increases the amount of tul and magicite fragments dropped by enemies
Attack up sword magicite: raises the attack power of Elliot's Sword
The preorder deadline varies by platform. On PC (Steam), the pack is valid for purchases up until June 18, 2026 at 8:59 a.m. PDT / 4:59 p.m. GMT. On PlayStation 5, the deadline is June 17, 2026 at 23:59 UTC. Players are advised to check their platform's store for the exact cutoff.
The official store pages note: "Bonus contents may be sold separately at a later date." The pack is not permanently exclusive to preorders; players who miss the window may be able to purchase the contents individually after launch.
Every supported console has a physical release, and a Collector's Edition is sold through the Square Enix Store. The PC version is digital only, available on Steam or the Xbox App. On Nintendo Switch 2, the physical copy ships as a Game Key Card rather than a traditional cartridge, following the recent trend for Switch 2 releases: the case holds a key card that installs the game rather than the game data itself.
As an early-game head start, Elliot grants bonus items to players who own (or have played the demo of) certain other Square Enix HD-2D games. Linking happens through the Promotional Bonus option on the title screen, and the items themselves are claimed at the desk on the second floor of the orphanage in the Age of Safekeeping. They can be claimed at any point, even if the qualifying save file is created after Elliot is already underway, but not while the orphanage is temporarily out of reach during the story. They are optional helpers, not required to progress.
Qualifying Save File | Bonus in Elliot |
|---|---|
OCTOPATH TRAVELER 0 | Guidance of the Sacred Flame (sword magicite): increases sword damage against enemies at 30% or lower vitality by 10% |
DRAGON QUEST I & II HD-2D Remake | Critical Hit (sword magicite): increases sword critical-hit rate by 6% |
BRAVELY DEFAULT FLYING FAIRY HD Remaster | Brave (sword magicite): increases sword damage by 10%, but guarding uses a little more shield stamina |
VARIOUS DAYLIFE | Expeditionary Wisdom (sword magicite): reduces sword charge time by 10% |
TRIANGLE STRATEGY | Counter Stance (sword magicite): increases sword damage by 10% while shield stamina is 90% or higher |
Trials of Mana | Laurentian Plumage (key item): ornamental feathers from a distant kingdom that lead to an encounter in town |
Demo save files for OCTOPATH TRAVELER 0 and Trials of Mana also qualify, so the bonuses can be claimed without owning the full games. Cross-platform saves are not supported, so the qualifying save file must be on the same console family as Elliot.
