Overview
Solarpunk ships with 24 achievements on PC. They are unlocked through normal play rather than through a separate challenge mode, and between them they map out most of the game's progression: crafting your first airship, wiring an energy network, filling out the recipe and energy-device lists, raising animals, and upgrading the airship far enough to reach the furthest islands.
Two of the 24 are hidden, meaning their name and requirement stay masked in the achievement list until you unlock them. Nothing on the list requires combat, because Solarpunk has no combat. The hardest entries are completion goals rather than tests of skill: finding every loot chest, clearing every trade, or buying out the vending machine.

Completion rates below are the share of players who had unlocked each achievement as of late August 2026. They shift over time as more players work through the game, so treat them as a rough difficulty ranking rather than fixed values.

Hidden Achievements
Two achievements are hidden and do not display their requirement in the in-game list. Their names are visible in the global statistics but their unlock conditions have not been described officially, so they are not documented here rather than guessed at.
Achievement | Completion Rate | Status |
|---|---|---|
ƃƃǝɹǝʇsɐǝ | 18.7% | Hidden. The name is the phrase "easteregg" written upside down. Roughly one player in five has found it, so it is not obscure once you know where to look. |
Yum! | 8.5% | Hidden. Unlock condition not officially described. The low rate suggests a specific consumable or recipe rather than a routine action. |
What the List Confirms About the Game
Because achievements are written against real in-game content, the list doubles as a short inventory of systems and objects that exist in the shipped build. Several of these appear nowhere in the store description or the patch notes.
Confirmed by an Achievement | What It Tells You |
|---|---|
Winter islands | Reached by upgrading the airship. Confirms that airship range gates access to a distinct island set, not just faster travel. |
Loot chests | Scattered across the islands and collectable as a set. Finding them all is one of the two rarest achievements on the list. |
Trade bot | A trading counterpart with a finite list of trades that can be completed in full. Related to the Merchant Platform and vending machine economy. |
Survival Guide | A readable in-game manual. Reading it is the single most-unlocked achievement, so it is presented early. |
Sleeping | Nighttime can be skipped by sleeping, which interacts with the day and night cycle. |
Naming animals and maximising happiness | Animals can be individually named and have a happiness value that can be driven to its maximum. See Animals. |
Diamonds | A distinct find, separate from the common ores covered on Resource Gathering. |
Colouring the airship | Airship colour customisation is in the shipped build, not just planned. |
500 building pieces and 3000 energy | Concrete scale markers for a full base. See Building and Construction and Energy System. |
Working Through the List
The unlock rates suggest a natural order. Roughly three quarters of players read the Survival Guide, sleep through a night and build an airship, so those three are effectively part of the opening hours. The middle of the list is where a base starts paying off: an energy network, transport drones, and 500 placed building pieces all follow from settling one island properly.
The long tail is collection work. Unlocking every recipe and every energy device, discovering all plants, finding all loot chests and finishing every trade all require travelling well beyond the starting island, which in turn means investing in airship upgrades. Because the world is fixed rather than randomly generated, collection goals are stable across playthroughs.
The two rarest entries are both exhaustive-purchase or exhaustive-search goals: buying everything from the vending machine sits at 4.6% and finding all loot chests at 5.6%. Neither is difficult in the moment; both simply require covering the whole world and accumulating enough resources to clear a shop out.
