Added the Features Trailer title card
Konami, Screen Burn and PlayStation have published ten distinct pieces of official video for SILENT HILL: Townfall since the game's February 2026 reveal, most of them in several cuts for different regions and ratings boards. This page lists what exists and what each one showed. The project timeline that goes with it is on Development History, and the events those videos premiered at are on Events and Appearances.
Video | Date | Length | What it showed |
|---|---|---|---|
Official Reveal Trailer | February 12, 2026 | 2:35 | The first full trailer. First look at first-person gameplay and at the CRTV, and the first sight of Simon Ordell. It picks up where the 2022 teaser left off, showing the same pocket television and finally revealing who it belongs to |
SILENT HILL Transmission | February 12, 2026 | 37:07 | A broadcast covering more than one game. Only its Townfall segment is in scope here. Art director Paul Abbott spoke about the Scottish setting during it |
Inside Screen Burn, Part 1 | March 2, 2026 | 5:32 | The first half of a studio documentary on the Glasgow team |
Inside Screen Burn, Part 2 | March 3, 2026 | 5:13 | The second half, covering location research on the Scottish east coast |

Release Date Trailer | June 2, 2026 | 2:19 | Set the September 24 date, revealed Zoe, and opened pre-orders |
Gameplay Trailer | August 20, 2026 | 18:52 | Over eighteen minutes across two sections of the game, with official chapter markers. The longest piece of footage released |
Cast Reveal Trailer | August 25, 2026 | 1:08 | Announced the English voice cast and named Richard for the first time. See Cast |
Features Trailer | September 16, 2026 | 1:30 | Published on PlayStation's channel alongside a post by the producer and the director on the PlayStation 5 version: DualSense features, 3D audio and ray-traced lighting. Age-restricted. See PS5 Features |
Tokyo Game Show Special Stage | September 19, 2026 | 1:38:20 | A live stage archived as a recording on the SILENT HILL channel: a talk with the series producer and about fifty minutes of the game played in Japanese. See Events and Appearances |
Most of these exist in more than one version. Konami publishes separate cuts carrying the rating mark for each region, so the same trailer appears in an ESRB cut, a PEGI cut and often a Japanese CERO cut, and the publisher's other channels carry their own uploads alongside the SILENT HILL channel. Konami's main channel, for instance, hosts its own copies of the cast reveal and the release date trailer. The runtimes differ slightly between cuts.
One practical consequence is worth knowing. The ESRB cuts of this game's trailers are age-restricted and the PEGI cuts are not, and the eighteen-minute gameplay trailer shipped first as an ESRB cut, which is why that one is gated where the others are not. A second copy of the same trailer on another official channel runs four seconds shorter and is not gated.
The game's own site keeps a dated news list, which is the cleanest published record of when each thing went up. It is also a useful reminder that a single announcement often carries two dates: the site's Japanese timeline runs a day later than its English one on six separate entries, including the gameplay trailer, the cast reveal and the wallpaper page, because the same moment falls on different calendar days in the two regions.

The official site carries a gallery of twenty-one screenshots, sixteen of which are the same images the Steam listing uses.
A wallpaper page opened on September 14, 2026 with images of Simon, Zoe and Richard. Each character is offered at four desktop sizes, from 1920 by 1080 up to 3840 by 2160 including an ultrawide 3440 by 1440, and at four phone sizes for Android and iPhone. Konami also offers the desktop set and the phone set as single downloads of about 47 and 32 megabytes.
Konami's posting guidelines, published September 8, 2026, let individual players post gameplay video and screenshots on a listed set of platforms without asking permission first, and ask that the appropriate rating and content warnings be shown alongside. Companies and organisations are not covered, commercial use is prohibited, and so is posting material from modified or datamined builds. The full rules and the content warning are on Age Ratings and Content Warnings.
As of September 21, 2026, three days before release, no launch trailer, accolades trailer or overview trailer exists on any official channel, and no launch-week stream has been scheduled. Six official channels were checked on that date and every one of them had uploaded other material within the previous two weeks, so this is an absence rather than a quiet period. The newest official video is the Features Trailer of September 16, 2026, and the newest studio dev diary is still Inside Screen Burn part two from March. No accessibility video has been published.
Two pieces of official video appeared in the final week. On September 16 PlayStation published a ninety-second Features Trailer, embedded in a post co-written by the producer and the director about the PlayStation 5 version; it is age-restricted, and it had not been mirrored on any Konami or Screen Burn channel as of September 21. On September 19 the Tokyo Game Show Special Stage was streamed live and then archived on the SILENT HILL channel as a standalone recording of about an hour and thirty-eight minutes, with roughly fifty minutes of the game being played in Japanese. The stage is described on Events and Appearances. The official site's own news timeline had not added either item as of September 21; its newest entry remains the September 14 wallpaper page.
One caution for anyone reading the official site's own video strip: the thumbnail for the reveal trailer carries the alternative text "Accolades Trailer", which is a leftover in the page's markup. It links to the reveal trailer. No accolades trailer exists.
