The Warriors are a bandit gang and the antagonist faction of the Chapter 3 section shown at gamescom 2026. The name is an official English string, used by NEKCOM's own English guide to that build, which describes Choko running into "a group of the Warriors bandits" on Mount Neo Yokohama.

The setup is straightforward. In search of Aya, Chigusa Choko travels up the mountain to seek out an elderly resident known as Granny Peace, and by the time she arrives a group of the Warriors has already beaten her there. Everything past that framing comes from the demo build rather than from published lore.

In the gamescom 2026 Demo

In the build shown at gamescom 2026, the Warriors are a gang of Japanese immigrants in clown-style makeup and 1980s club attire, described in coverage of the build both as an armed group and as a biker gang. They hold the mountain and run a fake-accident shakedown on the road there, which is what produces Choko's first fight of the demo.

Their leaders dress in outfits based on the Statue of Liberty and get their own bombastically patriotic boss theme. The writing gives them jokes as well as menace: one of them complains about wanting to turn Neo Yokohama back into Los Angeles. A pair of gang bosses waits at the top of the mountain climb, and neither has an official English name, so this wiki does not give them one. The usual caveat applies to all of it. The developers say the demo omitted narrative content, disabled features, and adjusted item availability, drop distribution and other parameters, and that it does not represent the final product. gamescom 2026 Demo has the details.

Where They Sit Among the Factions

In a 2023 developer session the studio named human survivors, a bandit gang and the yakuza as the main players in the world left by The Cataclysm, and said other important factions had not yet been revealed. Whether the Warriors are that bandit gang or a separate group has never been stated, so the two should not be treated as the same thing.

What Is Not Known

The Warriors have no published member count, territory beyond the mountain, named leader, internal hierarchy or founding history. Nothing has been said about whether they appear outside Chapter 3.
