Mount Neo Yokohama (新横浜山) is the hill above Neo Yokohama that in the real world carries the Hollywood sign. In the game the sign reads NEO YOKOHAMA. The mountain is the setting of Chapter 3, and it is where most of what the gamescom 2026 demo let players see takes place.

Chapter 3
Chigusa Choko travels to Mount Neo Yokohama in search of her younger sister Aya, intending to seek out the all-knowing Granny Peace, and finds that a group of the Warriors bandits has beaten her there. That is as much as first-party copy says about Granny Peace: she is all-knowing, and she is the objective.
Chapter 3 is one of only two chapters the game has publicly identified, the other being the Chapter 4 fight on the Golden Gate Bridge. As of September 2026, where either sits in the finished story, and how many chapters there are in total, has not been published.
The Foothill Shopping District
The Foothill Shopping District sits at the base of the mountain. Official copy describes it as seeming to have returned to its former bustle, and sets Choko a condition before she can climb any higher: she has to find a way to obtain a pass. The district is the game's demonstrated open-ended area, where players are free to explore, interact with characters and facilities, or simply push the objective forward.
In the build shown at gamescom 2026 the district is a tourist strip of stone-paved paths and stalls, densely populated with Japanese residents. Every NPC in it could be spoken to, every one was fully voiced, and the conversation carried period flavour. Some of those conversations could escalate into a street swordfight.
The same build held shops selling different goods, arcade cabinets and other Minigames, side quests, hidden chests, hidden passages and a hidden boss. All of that came from a demo build: the developers state that item availability, drop distribution and game parameters were adjusted for the showing, and that its presentation, control feel and system details do not represent the finished game.
The Bathhouse
A hot-spring bathhouse sits inside the district and carries a story segment in the demo build. Its open-air bath is partitioned like a divided hotpot bowl, each compartment holding a different spring composition, with cherry blossom above it, a starry sky over that, and a sake set at the tubside. Choko is changed into a swimsuit for the scene, and spends it thinking about her missing sister.
Side Quests
Not every job on the mountain is a virtuous one. A side quest in the demo build has Choko letting the air out of a neighbourhood bicycle's tyres. It comes with its own dedicated minigame and a suspicion meter that tracks passers-by, plus dialogue options for talking her way out if somebody catches her.
Combat on the Mountain
The demo build opens with a man pinned down and shaken down by Warriors. Rescuing him produces Choko's first combat encounter.
At the top of the climb in that same demo build, Choko fights a pair of gang bosses, found roasting a man over a fire, in an encounter with its own bombastic musical theme. Neither of the pair had an official English name as of September 2026. Bosses covers what is known about the game's boss tier, and Combat covers the systems the fight runs on.
Where It Sits
Mount Neo Yokohama is one area inside Neo Yokohama, which is itself one of the four cities named for the game. Cities and World Structure covers how those areas connect.
