Season 3: Lead-Type Dream

Corrected wikilink existence flags
Season 3 of Roco Kingdom: World is titled Lead-Type Dream (铅字幻梦). It went live on July 16, 2026 after an overnight maintenance window, following Season 2, and it is the largest content drop since launch: seven new open-world regions, two new environmental combat systems, a new main-story chapter, and a season legendary spirit.
The season's framing is a picture book whose written wishes escape the page and spread across the Kaluoxi'a Continent as a new fairy tale. Painting, wishing, and photography are the recurring motifs, and the season adventure that carries them is called Spirit Fairy Tale (精灵童话).
The update ran as a package-replacement maintenance rather than a hot patch, so every client had to be reinstalled or repatched before logging back in.

Season 3 opens the northern half of the Kaluoxi'a Continent. All seven regions are additions to the existing open world rather than instanced content, and they connect to the areas covered on the World Map and Locations page. Roco Kingdom: World has no official English client, so the Chinese name is the authoritative identifier and the English form below is a literal translation used for convenience.
Region (English) | Chinese | Character |
|---|---|---|
威廉古堡 | Candlelit corridors under permanent night. The hub of the new main-story chapter. | |
淘晶镇 | A crystal-panning settlement on the approach to the crystal country. | |
迷雾之森 | Low-visibility woodland between the castle grounds and the crystal belt. | |
仪式镇 | A settlement built around ceremony and observance. | |
结晶森林 | Crystalline woodland that catches and scatters light. | |
金水河谷 | The bright, open counterweight to the castle: clear skies and river country. | |
巨人裂谷 | A fissure split between severe cold and scorching heat, each with its own battle rules. |
William Castle and its neighbouring regions sit under permanent night. Wild spirits there appear in a shadow state that has to be dispelled before they behave normally. When the White Moon rises the shadows clear and the spirit energy ceiling lifts to 99 points, but that energy then drains steadily; specific areas restore it. The cycle is covered in full on Eternal Night and White Moon.
Giant's Rift carries severe-cold and scorching zones that accelerate magic drain and change how skills behave in battle.
Zone | Battle rule |
|---|---|
Severe cold (严寒) | Repeating a skill costs 1 extra energy. |
Scorching (炙热) | Skills ignite, and using them costs health. |
Three new lamps were added as upgradeable creations: the Starfire Lamp (星火灯), the Starfrost Lamp (星霜灯), and the Pumpkin Lamp (南瓜灯). They hold off the new environmental effects and support exploration in the northern regions.
Raising creation levels also feeds a server-wide contribution system. Two statues, the Prayer Sent to the White Tree (寄往白树的祈福) and the Sprout of the Wish Tree (美愿树的萌芽), convert accumulated contribution into buffs that apply to everyone on the server rather than to the individual contributor.
The season legendary is Gal (加尔), described in official copy as the spirit that grants wishes for lucky Rocos. Acquisition runs through the Spirit Fairy Tale story rather than through any paid channel.
Step | What happens |
|---|---|
Fairy Tale chapter 1 | Grants Galing's Egg (加灵的蛋). The player picks its nature and its individual-value tendency. |
Fairy Tale chapter 4 | Opens the Gal Legend Challenge, which consumes marks to form the contract. |
Final forms | Two: Gal (加尔) and Corrupted Gal (黑化加尔). |
Eight new spirit families and sixteen special shiny variants arrive with the season and are obtainable only through the Season Adventure track. Two further spirits are tied to the season pass: the Walnut Prince (胡桃王子) and the Centrifugal Dancer (离心舞者). The season pass itself is covered on Season Pass and Monetization.
The season also introduces the Dream Badge (幻梦徽章), which raises Starlight Value efficiency by up to 70 percent.
A commission from Principal Griffin sends the player toward the source of the kingdom's transformation, deep inside the castle. It continues the thread picked up in Main Story and gives the new northern regions their narrative spine.
The season shipped a wide balance pass alongside the content. Change records cover hundreds of dex entries: skills added to learn sets through skill books, adjustments to skill power and energy cost, and new Lord forms attached to existing spirits. Individual figures are recorded on the affected spirit pages rather than duplicated here.
