Overview

"Wanted: Perch" is a request in Pokemon Pokopia given by Dartrix in Rocky Ridges. After befriending Dartrix, it asks for a perch to sit on. Completing this simple crafting request rewards you with the Cutting Board recipe, which is needed for the "Make a Salad" quest.

Walkthrough

Step 1: Befriend Dartrix

Before this request appears, you must first befriend Dartrix. Build the Pointy Tree-Shaded Rocky Tall Grass habitat in Rocky Ridges (see the "Make a Salad" quest for habitat details). Once Dartrix moves in, talk to it to receive this request.

Step 2: Craft a Perch

Go to your workbench and craft a Perch using the newly unlocked recipe. The recipe becomes available once you accept this request from Dartrix.

Step 3: Place the Perch Near Dartrix's Home

Return to Dartrix's habitat area and place the crafted Perch somewhere nearby. The exact placement is flexible; just put it in the general vicinity of Dartrix's home.

Step 4: Collect Your Reward

Talk to Dartrix after placing the Perch. Dartrix is happy with the new resting spot and rewards you with the Cutting Board recipe.

Rewards

• Cutting Board recipe: Unlocks the ability to craft a Cutting Board at your workbench, which is essential for cooking salads and chopped dishes

• Progresses toward the "Make a Salad" request from Professor Tangrowth

Tips

• This request is closely tied to the "Make a Salad" quest chain. Complete it promptly to unlock salad recipes and the Powered-Up Leafage move.

• The Perch itself is a useful item. Craft additional perches for other bird-type Pokemon habitats later in the game.

• Dartrix has the Chop specialty, which is needed at the Cutting Board when cooking. Keep Dartrix nearby when you want to chop ingredients.
