Pokemon Pokopia has received updates since its March 5, 2026 launch. This page tracks all official patches, bug fixes, and planned updates.
Released alongside the game on March 5, 2026 (available before launch for pre-downloaders). This patch addressed several issues identified during the review period.

The Pokemon Company has outlined several known issues that will be addressed in an upcoming patch:
Progression-Blocking Bugs:
In the "Let's Build a Home!" request in Withered Wasteland, Squirtle may move up a tree and become unresponsive, preventing the player from progressing.
In Bleak Beach, destroying cracked blocks on the bridge before Professor Tangrowth crosses it can make progression difficult.

As of March 2026, no DLC has been announced for Pokemon Pokopia. The Pokemon Company has not confirmed any planned downloadable content expansions.
Pokemon Pokopia updates automatically when connected to the internet. To manually check for updates, go to the Nintendo Switch 2 home menu, highlight the game, press the + button, and select "Software Update."
