Overview

Snorlax is a Normal-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Sleeping Pokemon (Dex #108). Snorlax spends most of its time eating and sleeping, but when pushed to make a serious effort, it displays awesome power. Snorlax is one of the larger Pokemon in the game, standing 6'11" tall and weighing over 1,000 pounds. It carries the Trade and Bulldoze specialties. Snorlax also has a unique Mossy variant with different traits.

Habitat

Snorlax can be found at two habitats in Palette Town, both as a Common visitor.

Tree-shaded Snoozing Snorlax (#047)

A large tree with a Naptime Bed that creates the perfect sleeping spot.

Snorlax is a Common visitor at this habitat. It shares this spot with Munchlax (also Common). Available at all times and in all weather.

Good Old-fashioned Antiques (#048)

A collection of antique furniture that attracts Snorlax.

Snorlax is a Common visitor at this habitat too. Available at all times and in all weather. The Antique furniture set can be found in a restored building in Sparkling Skylands or crafted using recipes.

Location

Both Snorlax habitats are in Palette Town. The Tree-shaded Snoozing Snorlax habitat is simpler to build since it only needs two items, while the Good Old-fashioned Antiques habitat requires four antique furniture pieces from Sparkling Skylands.

How to Befriend

Since Snorlax is a Common visitor at both habitats, it is one of the easier Pokemon to find in Palette Town. The Tree-shaded Snoozing Snorlax habitat is quicker to set up. Place a Naptime Bed and a Large Tree near each other and wait for Snorlax to appear.

Specialties

Trade

Snorlax has the Trade specialty. Pokemon with this specialty can exchange items with the player at a cash register. Snorlax will staff a nearby cash register and offer items for trade.

Bulldoze

Snorlax also has the Bulldoze specialty. Pokemon with this specialty can serve as leaders when demolishing Pokemon Centers for reconstruction. When a Pokemon Center needs to be torn down and rebuilt, a Bulldoze Pokemon like Snorlax is required to lead the process. Snorlax shares this specialty with its family member Munchlax.

Snorlax (Mossy) Variant

Snorlax has a unique variant called Snorlax (Mossy), sometimes referred to as Mosslax. This variant has a different appearance, with dirt and moss piled around its body from sleeping for so long. According to its Pokedex entry: "This Pokemon tried to sleep off its bad mood after it lost a fight, but it slept so long that dirt piled up all around it, leaving it buried."

The Mossy variant has the Eat specialty instead of Trade and Bulldoze, and prefers Bright environments rather than Warm ones. It also favors spicy flavors over dry, and likes watching stuff and strange stuff rather than fabric and rides.

Preferences

Place soft furniture, food-themed items, and wobbly decorations near Snorlax's habitat to boost its Comfort Level.

Related Pokemon

Snorlax is paired with Munchlax (Dex #107). In the main Pokemon series, Munchlax evolves into Snorlax when leveled up with high friendship. In Pokopia, both are found independently at the Tree-shaded Snoozing Snorlax habitat, where they are both Common visitors. Other Pokemon with similar preferences include Skwovet and Greedent.

Tips

• Snorlax is easy to find since it is Common at both of its habitats. Build the Tree-shaded Snoozing Snorlax habitat first for the quickest results.

• With both Trade and Bulldoze specialties, Snorlax is a strong all-around utility Pokemon for your Palette Town setup.

• If you want the Mossy variant, you will need to build the Gourmet's Altar habitat (#093) instead. The Mossy variant has the Eat specialty rather than Trade and Bulldoze.

• Snorlax and Munchlax share the Tree-shaded Snoozing Snorlax habitat, so building it lets you befriend both at the same location.
