Initial limited-time events guide
Pokemon Pokopia supports ongoing limited-time events that introduce exclusive Pokemon, special materials, and unique furniture items. Events rotate on a schedule and require certain game progress to participate. The game uses the Switch 2's system clock for event timing.
The first limited-time event in Pokemon Pokopia.
Detail | Information |
|---|---|
Duration | March 9-24, 2026 (1:00 PM to 12:59 PM PDT) |
Objective | Collect special cotton spores scattered across the world |
Rewards | Picnic-themed furniture items |
Exclusive Pokemon | Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff |
Requirements | Rebuilt Pokemon Center in the relevant town |
Restriction | Not available on Cloud Islands |
Creating a habitat using the event furniture lets the player befriend Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff. These three Pokemon cannot be encountered outside this event. Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff all have the Grow specialty, making them useful additions for farming.
Community testing discovered that the event triggers based on the system clock rather than online server verification, meaning players can access it by adjusting their Switch 2 date. The development team has not indicated whether this will be patched.
Pokemon Pokopia is the first Pokemon spin-off to include Mystery Gift functionality. Gifts are redeemed at the Pokemon Center PC (requires approximately 30 minutes of gameplay to unlock).
