Create Househunting request walkthrough with full step-by-step guide
"Househunting" is a request in Pokemon Pokopia given by Charmander in the Withered Wasteland. After rain becomes possible in the area, Charmander worries about its tail flame getting wet and asks you to build a house with a roof. This quest introduces the leaf den building mechanics.
Detail | Info |
|---|---|
Quest Giver | Charmander |
Location | Withered Wasteland |
Quote | "Lemme know if you make a house with a roof." |
Prerequisites | Must have made rain possible in the Withered Wasteland |
Reward | Charmander moves into the leaf den |
Speak with Charmander about its concern regarding its flame. Since rain is now possible in the Withered Wasteland, Charmander needs a covered shelter to stay dry.
Go to the PC Shop and purchase a Leaf Den Kit. This is one of the basic building kits available early in the game.
Find a suitable empty spot in the Withered Wasteland to place the Leaf Den Kit. Gather the required construction materials, recruit Pokemon with the Build specialty to help, and start the construction process.
The leaf den takes some time to build. You can either wait for the construction timer to finish naturally, or advance your system clock forward by one day to complete it instantly.
Place at least 3 pieces of furniture inside the completed leaf den. Any furniture works: beds, tables, chairs, lamps, or decorations. The game checks for a minimum of 3 items.
Invite Charmander to move into the newly furnished leaf den. Exit the building and speak with Charmander one more time to complete the request.
Charmander moves into the leaf den and becomes a permanent resident
Introduces the building and furnishing mechanics for future construction projects
You can speed up construction by changing your system time forward by one day. This is a common shortcut for all building projects in the game.
Any 3 pieces of furniture satisfy the requirement. Craft simple items like chairs or mushroom lamps if you do not have furniture on hand.
Once you understand the Leaf Den building process, you can apply the same workflow to larger structures like huts, cottages, and houses later in the game.
