Fidough is a Fairy-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Puppy Pokemon (Dex #198). The yeast in Fidough's breath is useful for cooking, so this Pokemon has been protected by people since long ago. Fidough is the pre-evolution of Dachsbun and carries the Search specialty, which allows it to locate buried items using a Dowsing Machine.
Fidough can be found at two habitats, both of which it shares with Dachsbun.

Fidough appears as a Common visitor at the Graceful Flower Bed. It is available during all times of day and in all weather conditions. This habitat also attracts Cleffa (Common), Clefairy (Common), Dachsbun (Rare), and Clefable (Very Rare).

Fidough appears as a Common visitor at the Best Bread Bakery. It is available during all times of day and in all weather conditions. Dachsbun also appears here as a Rare visitor, making this a great habitat for collecting both members of the family.
Build either the Graceful Flower Bed or the Best Bread Bakery habitat. The Graceful Flower Bed is simpler, requiring only 4 Mountain Flowers, while the Best Bread Bakery requires more items but is thematically tied to the bread-dog family. Since Fidough is a Common visitor at both, it should appear without much waiting.
Fidough has the Search specialty. Hold the Dowsing Machine and press A while walking with this Pokemon to locate buried items. The Search specialty is valuable for finding hidden resources and materials scattered across the island. Other Search Pokemon include Dachsbun, which also has the Trade specialty on top of Search.

Fidough evolves into Dachsbun (Dex #199) in the main Pokemon series. In the main games, Fidough evolves into Dachsbun at level 26. In Pokopia, there is no evolution mechanic, so both must be found at their own habitats independently. Both Fidough and Dachsbun appear at the Graceful Flower Bed and Best Bread Bakery habitats, making these locations efficient for collecting the pair.
The Graceful Flower Bed habitat is the simplest way to attract Fidough, needing only 4 Mountain Flowers. It also attracts the Cleffa family, giving you access to multiple Pokemon from one habitat.
Fidough and Dachsbun share both habitats. If you build either one, you have a chance of encountering both members of the family.
Use the Search specialty by equipping the Dowsing Machine and walking near Fidough. This can reveal buried items that are invisible during normal exploration.
