Dugtrio is a Ground-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Mole Pokemon (Dex #155). Its three heads bob separately up and down to loosen the soil nearby, making it easier for it to burrow. Dugtrio is the evolved form of Diglett in the main series. It carries both the Crush and Hype specialties, making it more versatile than its pre-evolution.
Dugtrio can be found at two habitats.
Pokemon are drawn to this place, invited by the damp aroma of the red tall grass.

Dugtrio appears as a Rare visitor at this habitat in Sunny weather. It is available during all times of day (Dawn, Day, Dusk, Night). Other visitors include Diglett (Common), Bonsly (Common), and Sudowoodo (Rare).
Help yourself to food and drinks, and have a total blast with all your friends.

Dugtrio is a Common visitor at the House Party habitat. It is available during all times of day and in all weather conditions (Sunny, Cloudy, Rainy). Sudowoodo also appears here as a Common visitor.
For the easiest route to befriending Dugtrio, build the House Party habitat where Dugtrio appears as a Common visitor. If you already have the Tree-shaded Red Tall Grass habitat set up, you can wait for Dugtrio to appear there as a Rare visitor, but it will take longer.
Dugtrio has the Crush specialty. Pokemon with the Crush specialty can break down large rocks, boulders, and other heavy objects into raw materials. This is especially useful for clearing terrain and obtaining crafting resources like stone and ore.
Dugtrio also has the Hype specialty, which boosts the energy and enthusiasm of nearby Pokemon. This dual-specialty combination means Dugtrio can both process resources through Crush and motivate surrounding Pokemon with Hype at the same time.

Dugtrio is paired with Diglett (Dex #154). In the main Pokemon series, Diglett evolves into Dugtrio at level 26. In Pokopia, both share the Tree-shaded Red Tall Grass habitat, with Diglett as a Common visitor and Dugtrio as Rare. Dugtrio gains the Crush specialty that Diglett lacks, making it the more capable resource processor of the two.
If you need Dugtrio quickly, build the House Party habitat where it is a Common visitor rather than waiting for it at the Tree-shaded Red Tall Grass habitat where it is Rare.
Dugtrio's Crush specialty is handy for breaking down boulders and heavy materials. Pair it with a Build Pokemon for an efficient resource-to-construction pipeline.
Other Pokemon with the Crush specialty include Geodude, Graveler, and Golem.
Dugtrio and Diglett share similar likes (dirt, play spaces, slender objects), so habitats decorated for one will also please the other.
