Absol is a Dark-type Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia, classified as the Disaster Pokemon (Dex #127). Because of this Pokemon's ability to detect danger, people mistook Absol as a bringer of doom. Despite its ominous reputation, Absol is a gentle Pokemon that tries to warn people of approaching natural disasters. In Pokopia, Absol does not evolve and is found as a standalone Pokemon. It carries the Chop specialty, which is valuable for processing wood into lumber.
Absol is found at a single habitat, the Welcoming Resort (#096). This is the only habitat where Absol appears.

Absol is a Common visitor at the Welcoming Resort. It is available during all times of day (Dawn, Day, Dusk, Night) and in all weather conditions (Sunny, Cloudy, Rainy). Absol is currently the only Pokemon that spawns at this habitat.
The Welcoming Resort can be placed in any area, including Withered Wastelands, Bleak Beach, Rocky Ridges, Sparkling Skylands, Palette Town, and Cloud Island. Most of the resort furniture pieces can be collected from the abandoned hotel area on Bleak Beach, making that a natural spot to gather the materials.
To befriend Absol, you need to collect the four Resort furniture pieces. The Resort Sofa, Resort Table, and Resort Light can all be found at the abandoned hotel located to the left of the Pokemon Center on Bleak Beach. The Resort Hammock is on a small island southeast of Bleak Beach; use the Surf transformation to reach it and follow the path to the top. Once you have all four pieces, place them near each other to create the Welcoming Resort habitat. Absol will appear as a Common visitor.
Absol has the Chop specialty. Pokemon with this specialty can process small logs to turn them into Lumber. Lumber is one of the most important crafting materials in Pokopia, used for building furniture, structures, and many other items. Having a Chop Pokemon like Absol on your island ensures a steady supply of processed wood.

Absol does not have an evolution family in any Pokemon game, including Pokopia. It is a standalone Pokemon. Other Dark-type Pokemon in Pokopia include Umbreon, Murkrow, and Honchkrow.
Absol is a great source of Lumber through its Chop specialty. Place it near areas where you have small logs to process.
The Resort furniture pieces needed for Absol's habitat are mostly found at the abandoned hotel on Bleak Beach. Make sure to explore the hotel thoroughly.
The Resort Hammock requires Surf to reach. If you do not have the Surf transformation yet, you will need to progress further in the story before you can complete this habitat.
Despite its "Disaster Pokemon" title, Absol is a friendly and helpful addition to your island. Its Chop specialty is in high demand for lumber production.
