How to get Wild Oriole Sword
Defeat Mu Xiaokui during Heartless Remnant in Village of Lu to obtain Wild Oriole Sword. Her encounter features fast sword attacks and ranged throws. The additional Iron Fiend and Jade Dancer stage is tied to completing Young Mistress; its Fiend Saws reward is separate from Wild Oriole Sword.
Power Surge and upgrades
Wild Oriole Sword has an unblockable Power Surge that spends 1 Sha-Chi Essence for a rapid sequence of sword strikes. Its damage and Guard Break values describe separate attributes, so consider both when comparing it with another weapon.
Normal upgrades use Weapon Upgrade Materials at a blacksmith. Reforging can recover the materials invested in those upgrades for use on another weapon. Soul Tempering is a separate, irreversible enhancement using a weapon-specific material and Remnant Dust.
